I know they're a little cringey but I find it hard to hate on those two. TBH - being able to turn that into a career/paying job when you started as kids is pretty cool. what do y'all think site owners are making for these larger sites? one of the reporters for the on3 oregon site just quit to cover oregon state and high school athletes for a small-city paper (no offense Celemo). i can't imagine that's a lucrative role and it seems like it's a demotion in terms of notoriety but i truthfully have no idea how much a site like on3 would pay a staffer who provides practice reports + game notes and whatnot.

I bet the guys on the top sites are getting six figures. Like Tim Watts for example. I think Hopkins had his own site before it was purchased by On3 or maybe I’m mixing him up with someone else? Either way I bet he’s on the higher end as well. Heard the Ohio State site wasn’t doing too hot and one of the guys was let go or moved to part-time or something. They’re probably gonna just fire or lay off a bunch of guys to help pay for the Wiltfong acquisition.
