After a 3 grand swing in what I thought I was going to owe I'm a little skyhigh right now don't rain on my parade
I haven’t done my taxes yet. Plan on being fueled by last minute panic this weekend. Usually leads to good results
I left a company in January 2023 so I have a second W2 and their state vs. federal is different. I just put n/a because taxact.com told me that was okay via a google search I just left the company with the questionable W2 last month, so looking forward to doing this one more time next year.
yeah i didn't want to offer any tax advice but since you said it first, the same thing happened to me a couple years ago (I believe I was the company's first Michigan employee and they hadn't received their state ID yet) and someone at turbotax told me to just put the federal ID number in the box and it would be fine. I'm not in jail so as far as I know that wasn't egregiously wrong.
Specs around here has red dot sixers on sale all the time for like $3 I always grab a randomly one when I'm there, have had some good stuff come from it Just can't ever find them again
I just had a $15 4 pack of Jester King fall out of the beer fridge (two cans busted open) because the top shelf is over packed full of fucking leftover orange juice and shit from a baby shower my wife threw a month ago I'm not sure our marriage would survive if I went back inside right now I'm so fucking pissed off
We live near a manmade lake. Was walking with the kids and we saw a baby duck fall down a storm drain. Momma was going crazy. Couldn't get to it in the water, so we walked to the drainage point and saw there was about 10 of those fuckers about 50 yards in. Got my bucket and headlamp and went on a rescue mission. Did the 50 yard squat walk to the ducks. Then those little assholes ran away down a different drain that exited where I came in. Follow them out thinking we were about to do some circles, and then momma somehow found her way to the exit point and ushered them home. I won't say I'm a hero, but I also won't say I'm not. Legs are currently jello.
Hey please be more careful entering confined spaces, you don’t know what the oxygen conditions throughout that drain are
yep, had never thought about it in my life learned later one of our senior PM’s had worked for engineering firm that lost two guys in some sort of structure, one went after the other and neither came back
One that made me legit lol this morning……. Iran is about to find out why my healthcare is so expensive.
Maybe a dumb question, do you think 6yo is too young for a concert, the band AJR? Was going to have him wear earmuffs or earplugs and I don’t think AJR will be a rowdy crowd or anything. Wife was kinda lukewarm on the idea.
That’s a core memory right there and could potentially influence his passion for music. My dad did sound for his friend’s band when I was little, and I absolutely loved going to shows. It started a fascination and enjoyment of electric guitars that has never went away.
That shot of Cincinnati isn’t a great example to use. The area north and east of City Hall in the photo is full of 1840-1890 architecture that was preserved and is one of the hottest areas to move inner city in the country. The road is I-75, and everything on the other side that was flattened was right next to the rail terminal, with a lot of heavy industry, where no one who can afford to live elsewhere wants to live. The Over-the-Rhine area near City Hall is actually a pretty successful example of a livable downtown.
