I dunno, haven't listened to the RR pod in a while, so today on BS's pod is the first time I heard of it.

I got a good laugh at Simmons having Mazzulla as third for COY and RR changing his mind by just mentioning Thibs name. Bill is a fucking joke who obviously doesn’t think hard about answering his own questions.

I listened to some of those when they came out originally. Most weren’t great. I’m not sure why they felt the need to re-release this one. Especially with all of the clips still imbedded.

 

it certainly doesn’t make since as they were allegedly in a theme month. But bill didn’t release a pod today. Maybe some days off before nba playoffs kick off

 

yeah I enjoyed the beginning but shut that biz off when they got to the categories, didn't really need to re-live the Magnolia "experience"

I’ve never liked an artist enough to feel compelled to write 14 separate tweets about their new album, let alone about a woman that’s 20 years younger than me

That dude has been weird about her for years. I've never read any of his output and not come away feeling very uncomfortable. But also the album is pretty mid, not a single bop on it

without engaging with the album, it appears she focused more time on lyrically telling her side of break ups / beefs and less so on making a good sounding album. But that's kinda what her fans prefer? to get more info from her about these things. And I find that odd. I just want my musicians to make music that my ears enjoy.

my wife is a big fan and so I am sure I will learn much about it against my will. not trying to yuck anyone's yum, but I just find 30 and 40 years old (ahem, dbl) gobbling up lyrics about her break up with Matt Healy or fight with Kim K to be weird.

she is fairly normal about T-Swift but has also watched the Eras movie 3 times and seen Swift in concert 2 times in the last 18 months. so she cares quite a bit about her music.

I'm also not normal about many things in my life, so it evens out.

 

my wife observes me watching Dodgers and Bills playoff games, she knows I am not normal.

to my knowledge she hasn't listened to any of this album yet, which makes her more normal than 40 TMB posters

If she went to Eras twice and has watched the movie version 3 times, I find it hard to believe she hasn’t listened yet unless she had meetings all morning

I would’ve tried to listen no matter what but currently in training and the only thing scheduled for today is from 12-1 so I just sat around listening to it

 

Stan culture in general is a pox on society, at least us sports obsessed losers can wish for our coach to lose his job or our worst contract to get traded away. The real ones know it’s our negativity that fuels us, not the hope.

Taylor / Beyoncé / Nicki etc could put out an album of 12 different “Kars for Kids” covers and their stans would eat it up. I loved Eminem when I was younger but I hated Relapse, it’s normal to not love everything a musician does

I’m not a huge fan, but I came around a little when she spoke out against Trump and Blackburn.

Not accusing anyone ITT but I do feel like a lot of the TS hate comes from societal misogyny. Especially after this past NFL season.

Dudes are allowed to obsess over their favorite team or band, but women and girls are mocked for their same passion.
