Isn’t his era in the last 3 or 4 years around 9? I guess they just don’t care if he fails anymore since he’s not a prospect
I definitely forgot Ian Anderson existed. Kyle Lewis winning rookie of the year and then his career immediately nose diving is still sad
Ian is supposed to be back from TJ around the break, but hasn’t been the same since the sticky stuff crackdown
Craziest part about that draft is it was actually very good. Gallen, Bieber, Alonso, Bichette, Reynolds. Better than most drafts tbh
Jordan Hicks transitioning from fairly bad reliever to really good starter is not something I expected. Small sample size be damned, a .92 era (and dropping) is nuts. Probably jinxed him now but whatever
Crochet is equally good, if not better. He had one bad inning a few days ago but he’s by far the best player on that shit team
Agreed but I feel like crochet’s issue has always just been health. He’s been fairly electric anytime he’s been able to pitch, it’s just nice to see him healthy albeit for a horrid white Sox squad
Should I pay an average of one dollar per game to watch a Royals/White Sox doubleheader? No, I don't think I will
Last year I was getting game + parking pass for $5 a lot of nights People get desperate to make ANY money in the summer
it might be more. I think the MLB passed a rule this offseason that White Sox and Rockies doubleheaders were just 7 innings each
They definitely won’t I was just joking. Very possible we see an IL visit though. I don’t think he’s injured but they have to clear a spot for Taillon anyways and Kyle needs a break
Jackson-Os has gone in 1 month to looking like service time manipulation to maybe it was about lefty on lefty at bats to maybe we should have service time manipulated No idea what’s next, calling him up 1 game before he needed a ROY vote to get a year service time was strange
They haven’t all turned out exactly but I think too many people forget that the white Sox acquired him from the Nats with giolito and dane dunning for….. Adam Eaton The white sox are incompetent, but that had the opportunity to be an all time bad trade if it were to a competent franchise
White Sox had Cease, Kopech, Rodon, Giolito, Lopez, and Dunning The only one the Sox got the best years from is Giolito. Gonna laugh if Kopech eventually goes somewhere and becomes a competent starter too
It’s pretty unimaginable how many careers were wasted by the Sox. Only one that panned out as expected is Robert and now he has to waste away. Cease was good but I think he’ll be better elsewhere. God what a depressing franchise
