yeah, this was about my expectation for the season so far, except i thought we’d have a deeper run in the fa cup but we ended up drawing pool early which was kinda dumb exceeding expectations in the league at the moment despite sunday’s result. hopefully city stumble somewhere and the games being once a week again gives us a chance to get some of our legs back imo this bayern team was def beatable and it was an excellent opportunity, but that’s how it goes sometimes imo. we’re still on the right path imo

Bayern are certainly down and this was a tie we absolutely could have won, but I think they are comfortably more talented than us on paper in terms of attack. Kane, Sane, Musiala, Gnabry, Coman...way more options and threat imo. Sucks to lose but it's fucking Bayern Munich, dude. They have really good players and a much stronger pedigree in the CL. And despite Tuchel being a lame duck, he's, ya know, won this competition before. We need to add quality depth and probably upgrade on a few people in the starting eleven. Can't have 7-8 guys play pretty much every game. It's not hard to see why we play like this at the end of seasons.
