Comes out today, my YouTube getting inundated even though I'd never heard of it. Looks interesting. Anybody get pre-access or planning to try it out?
Just made it through the first boss and I think it's going to be incredible. It's from the Ori and the Blind Forest studio. The combat is precise and smooth with loot drops that aren't just an upgrade of your stats. Just switched from my Hammer/shield combo to a 2 handed sword with life steal, plague damage, and 4 different abilities to use. Sound, voice acting, and art style are all enjoyable so far, as well.
I'm kinda mad. I used a twitch streamers link, for the discount. Haven't received my code, and their support isn't great. I've had issues with CDKeys not coming through to my email, had to end up using a gmail account instead of my main email. Debating if I should wait out support, or re-purchase with a gmail account and ask for a refund. It's been like 18 hours, and have only received one response from support.
I played a bunch more last night and this is an incredible video game. The maps are so detailed and have great verticality. The towns also feel alive since every single person is voice acted and you contribute material for different projects/upgrades to be completed. I think the devs said there should be a minimum of 20-25 hrs of content in the early access.
