So it’s like the Salem witch trials. If he has a winning season then he is innocent because he feels no guilt.
In fairness, if your kid is an accomplice to murder or a rapist, it’s a great place to send him so he doesn’t lose any PT.
Not a bad recruiting pitch. “We won’t take your kid off the field or court for any legal reasons ever”
Was thinking more of the general student body, but do like this pitch. Illinois can use it as well. Charged with rape? You can still help lead us to the Elite 8
This is cheeky and fun. Hahahaha. Football! https://www.seattletimes.com/seattl...ybo-rogers-pleads-not-guilty-to-rape-charges/
Letting your rapist running back play so that your team can put up an awe inspiring 46 rushing yards.
they're gonna start an OT that was running around hittin people with the herp stick because he just thought he had dick itch Because
You have to be a really bad (or sick!) guy to pull for Bama or auburn with the type of men they have leading their primary sports
New federal regulations released Friday will prevent colleges and coaches from suspending athletes accused of sexual misconduct while school officials investigate complaints against them. The due process provision is one of several outlined in the U.S. Department of Education's final version of regulations governing how K-12 schools, colleges and universities respond to complaints of sexual harassment and violence under Title IX. The regulations, a draft version of which the Biden administration proposed in June 2022, are scheduled to go into effect Aug. 1. https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/39970530/title-ix-rules-athletes-sexual-misconduct Sounds like we have Joe Biden to blame for all of this
It's a delight to watch the realization that this guy's a fraud start to gain traction more broadly, just wish it were for less rape-y reasons
Might have been mentioned already, but was it a Title IX case? Quite the timing if so. https://theathletic.com/5429063/202...ct-investigations/?source=user_shared_articleNew federal regulations prevent schools from suspending athletes amid sexual misconduct investigations
Somebody who responds to incendiary messages by always calling back is attempting to not create a paper trail of evidence (who then reinstates a player after a rape allegation). You can call it something else if you’d like.
Because it isn’t a cover up if it’s a Title IX investigation. Those are kept confidential by both parties. That’s why the Mattress Girl at Columbia got in so much trouble. And if they were putting the mechanics for this in place, it would make sense that DeBoer initially kept him out of the P12 game, then was told by the Washington compliance guys that he couldn’t. maybe I’m just defending the shield, trying to bring a POV as a coach/educator who’s had to deal with something similar. If it was a straight rape case, there’s grounds for that accusation. I really don’t remember what the jurisdiction was.
I don't understand what any of this has to do with the link you posted discussing changes that will go into effect on August 1st.
I think it’s gross either way. You can find a number of reasons to get him off the field or out of the program outside of that, especially if he doesn’t have the grounds that Illinois guy was using to justify why he should still play. It’s just a viewpoint totally based on clinical legal procedure.
It's called "violation of team rules" Nice litte umbrella phrase that allows coaches to boot shitbags without penalty
#Alabama Crimson Tide put the safety of the women on campus at risk solely just to win some football games
