different situation but I thought for sure there'd be a mass exodus from UNC following the season but between the two portals so far we've really only lost one OL of note
The offensive comment box killed me below that tweet. Unfortunately it’s just a bot since twitter is basically yak now
here is a chart about 3 kids who all bombed their combine, don't do that... anyway here's a lot of money if Bud wants to do his weird Bud thing then last yr Mario got Tyrique drafted two rounds before Kirby had his 5* corner drafted, the kid he picked to start over Rique guess all corners should just come play for Mario over Kirby
I'm sure uga and kirby will be bummed to keep winning with inferior talent while you guys struggle with NFL players on the roster
Rique was the only kid that got drafted off Mario's first squad before pick 150 which is why pressing the panic button seems a tad premature to me, don't think a kid goes day 1/2 this yr either cupboard was bare its yr 3 now tho and the dollars have been spent, better win more than 8-9 games lot of soph/frosh played last year that have a good chance to be high NFL picks, first time canes fans could say that since Manny's portal squad
I'm not saying you're wrong but this is the exact same shit that was said about Taylor and Kinchens after their 1st season
also lol at 8 or 9 wins you guys dropped 2 mil on a rental qb plus whatever you spend on Martinez you dont win th acc this year its never happenin
So I'm pretty sure recruits don't put that much stock into draft position of the players that came to their school before them. If that were truly the case, I'm pretty sure Phil Parker would be getting 4 and 5 star recruits lined up to play for him as DBs. Dude is about to have a white DB drafted in the 1st round. He is in the top tier of preparing and developing players on the defense to be NFL players. Yet still mainly works with 3 star talent. I know most will say, well he coaches at Iowa and Iowa's NIL isn't that great, but that is pretty much my point. Recruits don't look at NFL development of other players, because "they're built different" or whatever other stuff they think about when choosing a school. Continue on with the inter-Florida bashing. If this is just a conversation on Mario sucking at developing, then fully ignore this post.
It's not just that Phil will have a white CB drafted in the first round, it's that he started 2 white CBs on the same team two years ago that will both end up top 90 picks. He truly is one in a billion. If that doesn't recruit itself, nothing will. The Ellis Robinson's and Caleb Downs' of the world should be paying for the opportunity to play for such a man
but Kirby wouldn’t play him outside and that’s why he left edit: it’s also a dumb ass comparison I made to highlight Bud’s dumb tweet
