Lost to goast started down 21-0. came back to 28-27 he scored on the final 2 drives using 1 play the whole way (Verticals with the slot guy run a skinny post with more crossing action). If we can do that I'll change the way I play. . Goast is a legit user player but the final 2 drives pissed me off to no end. I know you'll say it's because I lost but don't give a fuck.

He's a legit player, what do you want me to say ? I lost going into Camp Randall against a better team, fought the crowd and had the ball for the win but couldn't do anything with it. And goast fooled my a bit by saying he doesn't play D, definitely has user ability. I talked a lot of shit and deserve whatever gets thrown back at me but I just don't care.
Commish, if we're going to keep this fair, either all teams need to have a home rivalry game vs the computer int he middle of the season, or nobody needs to be allowed to host recruits for a rivalry game vs the computer. It's not fair for 1 team to be able to get A+ visits across the board while someone else can only hope for B's. There's a huge difference.
In past leagues I've been in, I've seen the commish make a rule where no team can host recruits for a home rivalry game vs the cpu bc everyone didn't have one. Your call, just pointing out that it's really unfair for some teams to have a huge built in advantage by being able to load up their entire recruiting board into one weekend, blow the computer out, and then have A+'s for every recruit while other teams are stuck bringing recruits in for a shit game and only get a B visit. When conferences are shuffled, some teams end up with rivals in the conference, and some don't. For instance, Michigan gets to play OSU at home. Mich can load up every recruit and be guaranteed an A+ visit just by beating the cpu. Miami can do the same vs FSU. Oregon can do it vs Washington. This is why I asked for you to schedule 1 of ND's 8 rivals for a home game. Instead, I got TCU lol. I'm not the only one without a home rivalry game v the cpu, so I'm not just pointing it out for my benefit. Hell, aTm doesn't have one, either.
I didn't schedule TCU. he's in the conference. nothing I could do. I'm cool with the rule you are talking about. Will try to do better on scheduling next year where possible and if dynasty lasts. not sure how to enforce it but it would be cool if everyone would refrain from scheduling those visits. on rivalry games.

Let me guess, you get a home rivalry game vs the cpu? Btw, winning only does so much. Visits are a huge part of it, and one team only being able to get B or B+ visits severely hurts their recruiting. You can't make up those points.
yeah, i see what you're saying. i didn't know visits carried that much weight. hopefully everyone will go with what you are saying and not use rivalry games.

you have any ideas for a replacement? looks like bigdadd quit so if we remove KingReed we'd have even number of players but 6 in one conference 4 in the other. not sure why people repeatedly sign up for these things who are not going to be serious about it.
The way I see it only the strong will survive. I wouldn't keep bringing outsiders in, just finish it up and at the end of the season u could redo all the schedules. Also set advancing days because as of now everyone seems to be guessing on this
yeah i was hoping everyone would do their stuff and we wouldn't have to set days. the thing is, if people don't want to play they are not going to and setting days ain't gonna make them. i wish people just wouldn't sign up that didn't want to play. i look forward to playing my game. we are advancing tonight. anyone with any ideas on how to handle this?
Like I said i wouldnt bring in anymore outsiders unless we know them or something but I say we just finish the year and if we only have 6-8 guys then so be it. at the end of the year we can place each of us on the schedule and go from there.
And yes i agree with you if they are going to play, you dont need to set a date. but some ppl do travel and go places or have things going on but if you have set days to advance they can maybe play the game before they leave and or tell you they will be gone during this period. It just helps to know when your going to advance even for ppl who are playing. From personal experience we leave on Fridays and visit my mother in law every so often And we will stay till sunday, monday or tuesday, depending on if it is a holiday or not. If i can get my game played before i leave on friday ill be fine. But if say we dont advance till saturday then I may not have it played till i get back. I hope that makes sense, im not the best typer in the world.
that would be fine with me. i don't need 12 to play. problem is we can't reset conferences. if conferences are not even then some people are gonna have more user games while others get to play cpu.

I think its an interesting mix of teams and conferences. I have a PSU fan wanting to replace bigdadd as PSU. Don't know what to do about KingReed since he restarted 4 times and still didn't finish. Gonna keep it moving and hope to find serious replacements until we have 12 who actually want to play.
Hey guys, I'm leaving Wednesday and I won't be back until Sunday. I'm taking my PS3, but not sure if we have internet in the condo or not. biggest comeback i have had against anyone just happened. Some with luck but made up for 4 turnovers the first 4 possessions of the game and being down 21-0 in the second quarter
I played my games but it kept freezing when I was loading back to the dynasty screen after the game. I couldn't understand why my games wouldnt count. I took losses in the first dynasty I played on here. I don't mind taking them but for some reason my game was bugged and it wouldn't count them.
