I've watched the series twice in the last year and in no way is that depressing. I love that I can just read this thread see quotes and know the scene and read the quote in the characters voice.

People always rip actors for that kind of shit but I usually give them a pass because when they break character, it's usually something so hilarious that you're rolling on the floor and even the best actor couldn't keep a straight face.
I dont remember specific episodes but I've noticed David Cross doing it a couple of times and I think Jessica Walters even got it once.
I've changed my mind. While Amigos is the 1a GOAT episode, SOBs (Save Our Bluths) is the 1b GOAT episode. The whole episode is a huge ass satire of how they're tanking in ratings. Fucking classic. Talking about moving to other networks, overt marketing, satire of overt marketing, Michael talking about being relatable to an audience (which I think was the main criticism of the show by casual watchers), celebrity cameos and the Richter clan, and THE MUFFIN MAN! Fucking classic.
Also, Lindsay making GM cream sodas (baking soda + cream), and at the party serving thawed chicken breast with sauce that is the water they thawed the chicken in.
