I like both of those too. I also really like the Texans +9 along with the over at 35 1/2 for it as well.
In short, the Niners have been playing ridiculous at home. Especially on defense. The public is in love with the Saints and hates everything that comes out of the SECWest. There's great value in getting more than a field goal. I think the line might show a little rlm later in the week and go back down to 3. Niners 31 Saints 24
I love both NFC dogs this week. Anybody want to share their thoughts on the Gmen Pack game? Home field is currently holding me back from playing the Gmen.
I tried to predict this weekend's lines with a buddy of mine and I was within 1 or 2 on each game, except for the Packers game. I thought it would be GB -4. I think there's great value in getting more than a TD with the Giants.
but for a TD with little time left, GB would have covered the 8 at NYG earlier this year. i believe the line is right. however, i am staying away from this game. packers team is really feeling the effect of the tragedy surrounding their OC. i was listening to a packers beat guy on houston radio this morning and he said while mccarthy calls the plays, the OC (don't know his name) is loved in the locker room and the situation with his son is not sitting well. his words were the team was not in a "good place". maybe it will be a rallying point that accounts for an even better result? who knows. but this is a NYG team with a clicking offense and finally healthy front 7. their secondary is awful, and we saw that in the first game. i'd lean toward the pack, only bc of line movement.
GB OL isn't very healthy is it? That Packers front 7 could have a hay day, I mean the Chiefs front 7 feasted versus the Packers and they aren't anything close to what the Gmen have in the stable. Add in the death of Philbin's son, who knows how they respond.
Love that sanfran pick, I like them moneyline +170. I think packers crush the gmen, their too inconsistent. They play well against the cowboys then lose to the Washington redskins.
I love the GB line. When they played in NY a few weeks ago the line was basically the exact same. Same line and moving the game to GB with rest for the Packers? I like that line a lot.
I think the general public is going to fall victim to all of the Tebow coverage this week. I fully expect NE to kill the Broncos.
I dunno man. If they can throw like they did against PIT I have no idea how NE will stop them. I think NE wins, but I don't know that they win by 2 TD's.
why? this sets up a perfect situation. saints score and they win by 2. it was for the best they didn't get that 2 pt conversion. edit oh, i see, it's different than your prediction. damn, that was close haha
Good day yesterday FSUsem ... Could you let me know your thoughts on the Texans play, I can't stop leaning towards the Ravens? I know you're on Houston, just want to hear your thoughts behind it. Thanks sir.
GB looks like they are rusty after a week off, and are feeling some effects from the OC losing his son (and possibly interviewing for the Dolphins spot). Hopefully they can stop looking sloppy and make some necessary adjustments on D in the 2nd half. Of course, this is the only game I was able to bet this weekend, so I'm jinxing the fuck out of everyone.
