Damn that's crazy. You can see the same van parked in front of that building in the before & after shots.
Was in SWVA near the Kentucky border. Was pretty weak here, to say the least. Some heavy rain and thunder at times, but not even alot of lightning. Lee County in VA, to my south, got hit pretty hard though. Multiple tornadoes reported last night in that county.
"Here it comes... Okay, I think we need to leave." I'm undecided on female chasers, but that is the most sensible monologue I've heard on one of these.
It's from the Chaiten volcano in Chile http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2008/06/chaiten_volcano_still_active.html
He had to have shit himself when he saw what was coming. Hope he had leather seats for easy clean up later.
Holy shit. The back of that SUV gets hit by something big flying across too. If they had not have pulled forward that likely would have hit the front of the SUV. There was a quite a few people just walking around right before that came through. I would have had my ass inside.
I didn't notice the SUV getting hit til the second time watching..looks like whatever that thing is shattered the back left glass too so his car became open to all that right before it really hit the fan.. watch the video in the background before shit gets near the parking lot..you can tell all hell is breaking loose.
really sucks it snowed so soon after that kind of destruction nails, mangled pieces of metal, etc are buried under snow and not visible to the eye
I got the backs of my Southern brethren any day of the week, but that said, I am almost always in awe of that dry "yup, there's a tornado coming toward me." attitude Midwesterners have.
