Only news worth having from rookie camp was that the Bears thought Jeffery was faster out of breaks than they'd have believed when they picked him.
Me too. He'd have been a top 10 pick, maybe top 5 if he came out his sophomore year. He didn't just lose his talent.
I've been a Bears fan too long to even dare hope that Jeffery can come close to this hype. Then again, that goes for the passing game as a whole.
Even if Jeffrey struggles with seperation and never becomes a 70+ catch, 900+ yard receiver, he's still going to get you 8-10 TD's per year on back shoulder fades and stick routes at the goal line.
Hey guys, like the thread title. Here's another one yall might not have seen. It was the wallpaper on my computer for like 5 months. Yall got one hell of a WR. He catches everything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DV0VbLqNLrU
This was a nice one hander as well http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URALpIXSZaY Believe that was his first college TD. He had 3 that game
Alshon has ridiculous hands. If there's another receiver worth a damn on the field, Alshon will do very, very well.
Adam Oestmann Here's what folks aren't seeing with the McCoy deal in relation to Forte: his $20.7M guaranteed gets spread across the 5-year extension. It's the security of being a significant cap-hit for those five seasons. GMs don't like "dead money." McCoy's deal is likely very similar to what Forte is looking to receive. His agent just got a legit comp to put on Phil Emery's desk. It changes things, not drastically, but significantly. about 2 hours ago
$20 guaranteed sounds reasonable for Forte. I'd rather just franchise him a year and see whats up next season.
Brandon Marshall had a great interview today on sportscenter and first take. It may be online somewhere..
http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/stor...hall-learned-new-york-city-nightclub-incident Yeah great interviews. I've never been so excited about a season.
Yea, that's probably a heaping pile of bullshit. I just hope we can win a super bowl before he does something stupid
Not sure WTF is going on in this thread but i'm getting the hell out. Good luck getting Forte to camp!
alshons speed is as deceptive as ale's and my shit talking tactics also OP gets the like for the A+ thread title. keep up the good work.
- My fav The Bears' Pro Bowl corner Charles Tillman was promoting his Cornerstone Foundation in a suburban Chicago runner's shop, when he was approached by a teenaged girl. She was the daughter of the store's owner, and she was just killing time doing her math homework, when she came across a problem she thought he'd be interested in. The word problem, as assigned by math teacher John Amrein at Round Lake Middle School, read Mr. Amrein, This is Charles "Peanut" Tillman of the Chicago Bears and I'm shocked that you would have a problem like this for your students. The probability that the Bears would win in my opinion is 100%. Please do not and I repeat DO NOT send them home with math homework that is disrespectful to our team, city and our beloved Chicago Bears. Cutler and Marshall playing together in a golf tournament here in Nashville figured Cutler would be doing his best to keep Marshall around him and out of trouble
I'm so fucking ready for football after the debacle of this spring and summer....even shitty Illini football.
wrestles alligators while tending to his hair not many people can hold multiple variables in their heads at the same time
The Bears website has put up 5 videos of rookie camp footage. It's kind of like a rookie camp version of hard knocks And Mike Tice gives off a real Steven Seagal vibe http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/
Chicagoans, should I take a tour of Soldier Field or go to training camp? I'm leaning towards training camp right now, but I'm willing to be persuaded.
Forte has until Monday to come to an agreement with the Bears before he has to play under the franchise tag
Bears and Forte extremely close to a long term deal per Lombardi http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/e...e-and-bears-extremely-close-to-long-term-deal Guessing it gets done tomorrow and its around Lynch money.
