Not in this state, that article just provided Richt with more goodwill. Go check out the thread on the vent, between our idiot fans and beating Florida we'll never fire that goofy motherfucker.
The unfortunate thing about this thread dying is that we don't have the opportunity for schadenfreude with the AU posters. In years past, we'd be able to repost and mock ~a million stupid posts from their bi-weekly thread bombs - high cotton and blaaake, especially.
I think that has more to do with Auburn sucking more than anything. There wasn't even a game thread this year. I think most posters are more worried about firing Chizik than they are winning games right now.
No doubt. But I imagine they would have posted all kinds of ridiculous shit prior to the season that could've been bumped. Also, ugafish's boy got arrested again last night.
Yea I have actually really come to like the AU fanbase. Of course they have their bad ones, we certainly have ours, but overall good guys. I kind of envy their position that they get to fire the coach after getting stomped by Bama. We will probably pound our chest over moral victories en route to the Outback bowl.
Can you not see the pic or are you alluding to my inability to see other things, i.e. the failure of our 8-1 5th ranked football team?
I seem to get that a lot, but I don't have trouble seeing them. I just rip them from other sites rather than hosting them somewhere like photobucket, so I'm sure the link goes bad over time.
Shit, I was hoping our BBall team might be a nice distraction this winter. They need to get a lot better - they beat Jacksonville University 68-62.
Both recruit underwhelmingly, both can take their best talent and lose to every good team on the schedule.
CBS will pick between the GA championship or the Bama championship. Team not picked gets ESPN at night imo.
Hope has nothing to do with expectations. I hope we win the national championship in every sport, every season.
Our Freshman actually look pretty solid. I really hope KCP stays another season. Donte Williams didn't play. He's our best big man.
"I want to win," he reiterated, "but it's all important to me." Does that balance help him when Georgia has fallen short? "Fallen short of what?" Richt asked. "If we're doing the best we can every day and we're doing it in a first-class manner so that when I go home at night I can lay my head on the pillow and God would be pleased with the decisions I made, how I treated players and the coaches, the media, my wife and kids, I'm OK with that."
I'm out of town, me and some of my friends I'm with are just going to a bar. We should meet up for the sec game though
