It's funny viewing this thread once a week and laughing at the people that are so mad that Te'o wasn't in on it and that he isn't gay. Some of you are still hoping with all hope that he's gay. Pretty funny but embarrassing for you at the same time.
Today on Jim Rome's radio show. He is the GM of the Falcons. Rome was asking him about gay NFL players in the wake of that 49'ers comment yesterday. Demitrioff talked about how it's not that big a deal some guys feel that way most don't yada yada yada. Rome then asks Demitiroff about drafting Teo and he said, and I'm paraphrasing here, "First you have to figure out the truth. GM's, Scouts, and Coachs need to find out what really happened. You may have one team who thinks its a certain thing and then you have our organization who thinks something else, which goes back to your original point" (which was gays in the NFL). Pretty interesting to hear a NFL GM say he doesn't believe a thing that's been said so far and he seemed to clearly indicate that he/the Falcons think he's gay.

I didn't think the press conference was neccessary personally, nor really was the interview couldn't all of the teams questions been answered in personal interviews?
I agree with this. I do think ND should have just stayed away from it, while letting Teo handle it all.
