Bracket project keeps tabs on 71 mock brackets. Guess how many include mizzou... All 71. Average is the 2nd 8 seed. Only 1/71 has you lower than a 10-seed. The bubble is really bad this year, and yall aren't close to it.
it's the last chance Ole Miss has at a quality win till the tournament in Nashville and if Mizzou loses they'll be 5-5 in conference play with trips to UK/Arkansas/UT remaining and a game vs UF. As far as the SEC goes that's pretty tough. You can't lose too many SEC games and expect to get in the NCAA tournament
Not saying it's the sole reason we lost to L'ville in the elite 8 because we shit that entire game away but yes, losing Yeguette really hurt last year. I think UF is a touch deeper this year but if Young gets in foul trouble we are fucked. He if our only big left. Murph can bang a bit but he would prefer not to and Prather (who is only 6'6) can't stay healthy. We have a shit ton of guards and gunners but are lacking in the traditional bigs. Wish Harris and Finney-Smith didn't have to sit out a year.
Id be really dissappointed if Mizzou got an 8/9 seed. Although they are playing like one. Im hoping for the 6-7 range.
Mizzou will end up in the 8-10 range IMO going to be heading down to the VU/Ark game in the next 15-20 minutes
When Mizzou plays like this, its more frustrating than anything. This Jeckel and Hyde stuff is tiring.
honestly I have almost accepted we lose this game... but just to see another epic fallout in the SEC from Mizzou and their fan base would be priceless
agreed but the point differential was 20 and the momentum of the game got out of control. I think he yelled something while hanging but he wasn't up there for long
color me intrigued on mizzou's male cheerleading squad ... do they do little gayboy flips after every free throw?
Powell sits for 9 minutes, comes back in and picks up his 3rd foul within 30 seconds we're gonna lose
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat we don't have near the talent to be a top 10 team mizzou is lights out @ home
* we are so passive on the road and have no leadership. Powell always picks up cheap fouls and takes himself out of the game. When he's out, we're going to struggle, especially on the road. Qualls isn't hitting from mid-range today either. He's the only one that has gotten any looks. Young plays too out of control to take games over. If our press isn't creating easy buckets we're gonna have a bad time
You guys have two first team all conference caliber players. A great inside defensive presence in Buckner. A top 10 team in rebounding. Mizzou is playing well today, but games like this, Marshall Henderson kills you all. He has 1st team all conference talent, but if he and others would just take better shots you guys would be so much more efficient. He has no idea how to take advantage when teams commit to him outside the arc.
When Frank takes off his jacket, good things happen. In fact, the less clothes he wears, the better mizzou plays :gays:
Holloway is 1st team all conference effort. He has one hand, and is a really short 6'6". Henderson is a slow white guy with a good shot and awful shot selection. We're nowhere near top 10 talent.
I don't care how short or one handed he is. He's averaging 15 and 10 on 53% shooting. Henderson takes terrible shots and still has a EFG% around .50. That's what I'm saying. If he'd take better shots you guys would be way more efficient and a better team.
Kind of surprised that was ruled as a punch. 1 intentional, 1 ejection and 4 other personal fouls on one play. That has to be some kind of record
Well, duh. Your talent comment was retarded, though. Holloway's stat line in in spite of his talent level.
