Now that tonights games are over..... FUCK YOU hogfan batwing infected donkey Iron Mickey Hoss Bonaventure Hogview THF and the President of my fanclub woo-pig Spoiler: j/k Love you all, especially woo-pig - you angry little elf but fuck your faces for the rest of the week
we're in the fourth month in which college basketball games have been played this season and Vandy's basketball team has as many wins as the football team did this year
So does Mizzou really bring a cheering section to every away game? Also I stand by my claim that OM will not make the tourney
It's new as of the past few games. Haith just started bringing students with the empty seats on the charter plane. Kind of cool imo.
noel out for the season and i'm leaning to UK out of contention for a tourney spot as they lose every game for the rest of the season. FIRE CALIPARI!
This seems like it's going to be one of those games where arkansas shoots 30% above their season average on 3 point shots.
Yeah that's shitty, but at least it's now as opposed to right before signing day. Think we come out of this class with Devin Booker and Jordan Barnett so we should be OK. Plus we have Wes Clark coming in the 2013 class so we ought to be OK at PG too.
I had to edit my post. I didn't want it to get you so upset again, that wouldn't be nice. Plus I can see you and I are going to get along famously. I like your style kid. We're going to be the best of friends. Don't you ever change for anyone. And don't give up on your dreams big guy. Also, GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!
I actually think he may end up at Ole Miss... Really hope we start recruiting him again. His HS coach has some sort of disdain for Arkansas
I have no idea what Anderson was doing last night with his substitution pattern, but we got out of there with a win I'm interested to see Pressey against Gulley. Oriakhi is going to rape us down low so we'll have to get him in foul trouble early like we did with Patric Young. I'm expecting it to be a good game. One of these days y'all need to come down and check out Bud Walton
Oriakhi is dominant at home and sometimes can disappear on the road like he did last night. Still had 10 boards but only two points. He's going to have to bring it if we're going to win. We're shooting a ridiculously lower percentage from 3 on the road, so we're going to need to get in inside as much as we can.
Sucks. I like him, but as miles said, at least he is out early instead of closer to signing day. Kind of hard to get too excited about a kid who commits over two years before he signs. Also, Mizzou is in on a lot of good talent. However, as it stands right now, the only True PG mizzou has is current commit Wesley Clark. Past next year its just him and Steve Clarkson, a transfer who is sitting out this year, but he is more of a combo guard. We're gonna find ourselves in the same position as this year with just one good ball handler. But, fuck all that shit. This game is going to to be good. I am excite.
It goes back to the early 90's. I played for him. My soph year I told coach Flanigan I was going to the Nolan basketball camp. He smiled and said I shouldn't waste my money on that sorry mafucka.
Agree. Gotta say this game is the one I've been looking forward to the most this year. Should be a sellout crowd with a lot of energy. Going to be a fun rivalry going forward
Agreed. There was a good rivalry in the 80s and 90s. As good as an out of conference rivalry could be at least. I think it will be fun going forward. I wish I could go to the game in Columbia. My office has a meeting with Pro Bass Shop in Springfield next week. I tried like hell to get on the meeting to use as an excuse to go to the game on saturday.
Yeah I thought you played there. He's been pushing kids to Mississippi schools for as long as I can remember. Can't believe he's stuck to being a faggot in his home state for so long
It was more of him not recruiting his sons or anyone else at Parkview back in the early 90's. Wes F went to Aub, Jason F went Ole Miss, Quincy Lewis/Minn, Adrian Chilliest/Aub, Love/Stanford, D Fish/UALR and etc.....
Mizzou Arena is really nice. Kind of like a mini NBA arena. But I grew up on Hearnes, and still miss it dearly. Ive only been to Fayatteville for American Legion Baseball Tourney's. Cole Field
Played a lot of baseball on Cole Field in the early 2000's. Bud Walton is very nice too. We don't fill it like we used to, but that Florida game was the loudest and most packed I've seen it in 10 years. Used to have season tickets from 1991-2004. Then when I graduated my parents stopped getting them. Just renewed last year now that I can afford my own
Mizzou thread has been pretty dead lately. Not much happening. After Miss St. scored just 10 points in the first half, I posed the question: Could a team of TMB Tigers score 10 points in a half on Mizzou? What do you guys think? You a team consisting of your team TMB thread score 10 points in 20 minutes on your respective team? Discuss.
Worth noting: This was the eighth time VU has scored under 55 points, and the fifth time under 50. It's the first time since the 1949-50 season that Vanderbilt has failed to score 55 points in eight games. With at least nine games to play (including one Southeastern Conference Tournament game), the Commodores are now four losses away from tying a school record for losses in a season (18). Attendance was announced at 12,868. The student section was no more than one-fourth full at tip-off. This marks the third time in five years that Tennessee has swept VU during the regular season. VU's current average of 59 points per game is its lowest since 1949-50.
