We're talking about going as well. Weather.com is saying a cold front will come through Saturday night and it will be a high of 56 for Sunday.
yep, they fucked up the entire schedule last year and kept it the same for some shitty reason again this year...will be there Saturday night for the Shootout and then I am going to miss my first Duals since 2005 because of the change in the schedule...i will be there for the 500 again as well
I will find you and kill you if you spend another 2-3 pages waffling on going like you did last year. That shit is unbearable to read for every NASCAR fan not within 3 hours of Daytona.
I think I made a total of 3 posts about. "We might go", "Ugh, weather still looks like shit.", and "Yea, fuck that." EDIT: It was 5 http://www.the-mainboard.com/index.php?threads/nascar-thread-soon.83333/page-27#post-6364484
Plus the posts on the next page. So, two pages like I said. The humble-brag/woe is me combination is annoying and I'd just rather not see it again. Thanks.
Humble brag? The fuck are you talking about? I saw a shot at possible going for cheap and said as much. I then asked some questions bc I don't know much about the track. I then said I wasn't going bc the weather was going to remain shitty. Shame on me for 5 whole posts. If something like that upsets you, wow. Hell, I might do it now just to be a dick, dick.
Dbl just buy 2 fucking tickets drive down early as shit on sunday. park for $35 pack a cooler of beer and food and walk around and then go inside and get drunk with beer your purchased. Everyone who is a casual nascar fan needs to do it once. I also suggest buying a radio and headset or renting one
Quoting since the format got all fucked up. Fixed now. Thanks to Arkadin for being our password bearer
still can't figure out who is who. habit is to still think logano is in the 20. carl edwards car looks like martins. had to watch the wreck 10 times to find out who all was involved. montoya's mangled 42 still looks the same though.
Who's going to tomorrow? Thinking about making the drive down if I can find someone to go with me. MooreAlabama
stewart wins segment 1, which means pretty much nothing. seems like him and kenseth have the two best cars so far.
Saw some odds posted yesterday on who will win the race. I'm a big 88 fan, but I thought 9/1 was a little low when guys like Smoke are at 12/1 and JJ at 14/1. No idea how Rowdy Busch is 10/1. Unless he is 2 laps ahead of the entire field on the final lap, he will ultimately wreck trying to win it. 2013 Daytona 500 odds: (courtesy of thespread.com) Dale Earnhardt Jr. #88 9/1 Kyle Busch #18 10/1 Brad Keselowski #2 12/1 Kevin Harvick #29 12/1 Tony Stewart #14 12/1 Denny Hamlin #11 13/1 Matt Kenseth #20 13/1 Clint Bowyer #15 14/1 Jeff Gordon #24 14/1 Jimmie Johnson #48 14/1 Kasey Kahne #5 15/1 Carl Edwards #99 16/1 Greg Biffle #16 18/1 Martin Truex Jr. #56 20/1 Jamie McMurray #1 25/1 Kurt Busch #78 25/1 Jeff Burton #31 28/1 Joey Logano #22 28/1 Mark Martin #55 33/1 Juan Pablo Montoya #42 40/1 Marcos Ambrose #9 40/1 Ricky Stenhouse Jr. #17 40/1 Ryan Newman #39 40/1 Paul Menard #27 50/1 Trevor Bayne #21 50/1 Aric Almirola #43 60/1 Michael Waltrip #30 66/1 Casey Mears #13 75/1 Danica Patrick #10 75/1 Bobby Labonte #47 100/1 David Blaney #7 100/1 David Gilliland #38 100/1 David Ragan #34 100/1 Josh Wise #26 200/1 Scott Speed #95 200/1 FIELD 50/1
