We're talking about going as well. Weather.com is saying a cold front will come through Saturday night and it will be a high of 56 for Sunday.

 

race is in like 12 days lol

 

Fuck me, I thought it was on the 17th. It's normally right around my bday on the 18th.

 

Shootout is this weekend iirc and then the race is 24th

 

Duels are Feb 21

 

yep, they fucked up the entire schedule last year and kept it the same for some shitty reason again this year...will be there Saturday night for the Shootout and then I am going to miss my first Duals since 2005 because of the change in the schedule...i will be there for the 500 again as well

 

I will find you and kill you if you spend another 2-3 pages waffling on going like you did last year. That shit is unbearable to read for every NASCAR fan not within 3 hours of Daytona.

 

I think I made a total of 3 posts about. "We might go", "Ugh, weather still looks like shit.", and "Yea, fuck that."

pack a cooler of beer and food and walk around and then go inside and get drunk with beer your purchased. Everyone who is a casual nascar fan needs to do it once. I also suggest buying a radio and headset or renting one

still can't figure out who is who. habit is to still think logano is in the 20. carl edwards car looks like martins. had to watch the wreck 10 times to find out who all was involved.

montoya's mangled 42 still looks the same though.

Yeah after that wreck happened I feel that everyone was too scared to make any aggressive moves.

 

Saw some odds posted yesterday on who will win the race. I'm a big 88 fan, but I thought 9/1 was a little low when guys like Smoke are at 12/1 and JJ at 14/1.

No idea how Rowdy Busch is 10/1. Unless he is 2 laps ahead of the entire field on the final lap, he will ultimately wreck trying to win it.
