One of the best performances I think I've seen since adopting last season. I was saying to myself in the first half how much better the 2 striker lineup is. Not just for Rom to have a guy to play [great] off of but taking a guy out of the midfield opens up those guys too.

Everyone has more space to do their thing and let the wide runs come through. Also not a coincidence that Rom had no off sides since we didn't have that "over top to our one striker or bust" offense.

And Tim Howard wasn't tested greatly but his positioning was great today. A couple shots looked pedestrian that many games last season he wasn't in the right spot for and hit the back of the net.
