Can anyone recommend any "good" tax accountants? Not quite Saul Goodman "good" but ya know....pretty good. I'm trying to pay as low of an effective tax rate as possible, without defrauding the government.

 

how complex is your return? If it's very simplistic I am team turbotax all day. Very easy to use, cheap, and accurate. But I'm single and have a pretty straightforward return that I don't want to pay an accountant $300 to do when I can complete it myself in a half hour

 

I'm not married (yet) and I'm an independent contractor with a lot of expenses and mileage...I was team turbo tax when I was still a W-2 but now that I'm a 1099, I think it's time to enlist the help of a professional.

 

any recs on where to get a decent butt to smoke this wknd? was prob gonna run over to NY butcher shop in CH but i mean i feel like i could get a decent butt at publix too. any difference or reasons why i should go to one place or another?

 

I love NY butcher, but they are very expensive. And I don't know that I have ever seen butts in there. Maybe they keep them in the back though. Like you said, you can probably do just as well at a grocery store.

 

Go to the Homewood pig or Mtn Brook western bruh. It's a butt. All you're looking for is adequate and even marbling and uniform shape, ie not too thin/tall
