So effing pumped to see this guy at TomorrowWorld in under 2 weeks. https://soundcloud.com/matoma-official/tracks
Took a hiatus from getting high and listening to fuckin' Trap music. Started getting high and listening to good ole faves like Creedence and Tom Petty again.
Hey what's the name of that rap rap song that has the guy yelling "Turn uuuuup" periodically throughout the song?
If you grew up listening to American Top 40 in the 70s and 80s, like me (and probably no one else on this board), this is really awesome: http://www.iheart.com/live/classic-american-top-40-6545/?campid=iphone_share#r:177600279284348400 I Heart Radio streams back-to-back, 24 hours a day, old AT40 broadcasts from the mid 70s to the mid 80s. I'll let you kids get back to your rap and hippy-hoppity now.
He was born a pauper to a pawn on Christmas Day, when the New York Times said God is dead, and the war's begun. Alvin Tostig has a son today.
cool story. i was drunk as shit going to see J Mascis do a solo show in Athens GA at the 40 Watt Club. Had been excited for weeks since I'm an old fart now and I never go out. anyway, as I'm enjoying a beverage in front of the 40 Watt, I see him. he's just standing in front of the place talking to some staff members, probably feeling like a regular human being. my bright idea is to walk up, tap him on the shoulder and then tell him that I'm excited to see him play that night. he gives me a "what the fuck, asshole" look that, in retrospect, was likely 100% justified. like I said, cool story bro. it was fall last year. it is still firmly within the shower-time "oh god why" shame playlist in my brain.
yeah he is notoriously uncomfortable/difficult around people in general, so you probably freaked him out.
I discovered this on Spotify about a week ago and haven't stopped listening to it since. Pelican I think you might dig it, maybe not
bup I'm doing repetitive data entry, give me some shit to listen to. Preference: stuff that doesn't include a banjo
Christ you know it ain't easy, you know how hard it can be, the way things are going, they're going to crucify me.
