Full list of backwards compatible games for Xbox One - http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/xbox-one-backwards-compatibility-full-list-xbox-360-games-leaked-1527479 Really pumped that Bioshock Infinite is on there....its downloaded to my 360 and I never finished it. PUMPED.
Badass grenade kill in Halo 5 to win a round of breakout.....wait for it. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Taco Sa1ad/video/12611232
I wish I would've known about these Game Stop specials earlier. I would've been able to upgrade my hard drive, get 2 games (if I didn't get the elite bundle), and an additional controller (which I could sell for $40+) for $100-$200 depending on which bundle I would've gotten.
We are roughly 36 hours away from the best next gen game to hit the market. Hope you fools are ready.
Fallout 4. If it's anything like 3 or NV (I played both a ton) it'll be the best value for your dollar in video games. Not to mention mods made on pc platform will be able to be used on console, so that should extend the life cycle for quite a while.
i kind of want to buy fallout, but im going to buy rainbow 6 and i dont have nearly enough time to play both of those and madden
I posted in here about those I think. I got the Elite bundle on Friday. Traded in my X1 ($250 credit - this is their standard credit for the X1 and PS4) and my PS3 ($100 credit - this was a promotional thing). Walked out with the Elite bundle, Black Ops 3 and another controller for $180ish after tax. Sold Black Ops 3 on Craigslist yesterday for $50. Sold the controller on Craigslist today for $40. So, yeah, upgraded my console and got the Elite controller for basically $90.
Probably a massively unpopular opinion on here but I never found the gameplay of the fallout games fun. The whole "basically freeze time and select a body part for the game to put bullets through for you" really kind of killed it for me.
They got the lead guy that did the gunplay on destiny to lead that aspect of the game. And destiny is wildly regarded as having some of the best gameplay around so I have high hopes for it.
Playing Halo 5 makes me realize how good of a job Bungie did with Destiny's gameplay. Destiny really is one of the best imo. Too bad the rest of the game is just mediocre.
Shooting enemies in Halo 5's campaign just feels weird. Maybe it's that variable fps they coded on the enemies (enemies further away only render at 30fps for example). The gun mechanics don't seem as polished either.
Halo 5 is one of the smoothest shooters I've ever played. Certainly not knocking Destiny's gameplay (or gunplay), but your opinion is misguided if its knocking Halo 5's mechanics. Regarding fps, Halo 5 gameplay runs at 60fps throughout. If they are rendering anything at 30fps, it would be well outside your shooting range so it wouldn't affect how it feels. Halo 5 feels like a Halo game to me....and I've played every one.
so if we have any games on the backward compatible list, should they already show up in the library if you are a preview member? or is it not until it officially goes live?
If it was previously owned and you have the new dashboard you should see them, ex: I bought shadow complex and it shows up on my xbone. If it's part of something you recently bought it probably won't show up until the 12th, ex: the GoW catalog doesn't show even though I bought the remastered GoW1. Same probably for Fallout 4 & 3.
I know I had a couple of the old 360 arcade games on that list, but they dont come up yet in my library. I guess I will be patient bear until the official release.
BTW that leaked list wasn't right. Here's the official list from Xbox... http://majornelson.com/2015/11/09/t...ility-games-is-now-available/?linkId=18611744 Pretty underwhelming BUT within the non-list portion of the article... "More titles are on the way, including fan favorites like Halo Reach, Halo Wars, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite and Skate 3." I was not a fan of Black Ops but that gives hope to the good COD's showing up at some point.
I could see them holding the Modern Warfare titles hostage so they can release a "remastered" Modern Warfare collection for MW1-3. And I would probably buy it. But most people figured there was no hope for COD titles due to the apparent Xbox/Activision break up (Destiny giving timed exclusivity to PS4, Black Ops 3 doing the same).
Did it ever come out in a physical format? The amount of 360's that I've had the misfortune of owning that developed bad disc drives and couldn't read games anymore always had Hexic loaded which I'm sure came for free up to that point. I hope that's a start at them including arcade games and such, but I doubt it highly.
Ugh. I hate when they say shit like "more than 100 titles" and 60+ are arcade games that no one plays.
To each his own. I personally like shooting enemies in Destiny more than Halo. This is coming from someone that enjoyed and sunk 100+ hours into each Halo game, but I never though of Halo as the best shooter when it comes to the actual gunplay. That said, Destiny isn't even my favorite. BF: Bad Company 2 had great gunplay, Insurgency is one of the best. Destiny is my favorite on the consoles though.
Guys bitching about VATS in Fallout... It was a turn-based game with 1 and 2. They kept that element as an option through VATS (a heavily relied on option previously because the gunplay was bad). Now it seems we have a choice and the enemies now move while you're selecting a body part so it's not totally OP.
Are you talking about the aiming or...? Just FYI 343 has come out and said that they intentionally made the aiming a bit more challenging by design. They have a pro team working for them (guys who were pros back as far as H2 at least - Strongside, Ghostayame, etc.) who helped fine tune everything after the beta. It can take people a little longer for their shots to "warm up" as a result. I feel it's like any other Halo game though. Sometimes my shot is just off and other times it's very much on. Had a single game the other day with 8 perfect kills. Perfect kills are basically my favorite thing to get in the game so that was a fun one.
There are too many good games that recently came out, or are coming out in the next few weeks. It's hard to make a decision.
this may have been answered since you posted it, but I do not believe preorders are part of the deal. I'd recommend buying new releases that will not drop in price, then going back later and doing a straight exchange. Target can be finicky about that, they once tried to give me the lowest price as I intentionally did not produce a receipt.
those games were a tad before my time, but one came out roughly a decade ago when I was in college. We rented it for (I think for Xbox..not 360) knowing it would be raunchy, but I was surprised how much this short bald guy would have sex with nude coed pixels.
