Big fan of Zobrist leading off and Schwarbs in the 2 hole. Also a big fan on the offense putting up crooked numbers. Good thing we weren't running scared from the Brew Crew again today.
I can't believe it didn't rain yesterday based on the forecast. Between the umps waiting to delay the game Friday despite the horrible conditions and the cancellation yesterday despite no actual rain they really shit the bed.
Inspired performance by counsell's team really harnessed their anger that last inning off Floro. That team is going places.
Saw that, too. Sent it to a friend who was going to get the awful "Bryzzo" license plate, but now he'll do LWLLWWW
He's as patient as they come but with his power I prefer him hitting 2nd or 5th as long as Bryant and Rizzo are in there.
So impressed by Happ, but taking 3rd there was yet another baserunning error--down 3 with no outs in the 8th, he probably would have been out if Crawford didn't bobble the ball. As much as I'd like to blame Gary Jones, it looked like he was shaking his head as Happ slid into third. And then Zobrist with the big homer, we got a game!

Thank you for humoring the Brewers for a few weeks, you may proceed with steamrolling the division now. Pretty sure we are toast.
I don't follow the draft that closely... But the Cubs normally play it pretty close to the vest. I remember people being shocked at some of the picks we made in recent years.
Yep. At least we got that insane 2015 season and a World Series out of him. Will not be too sad to see him go next year. Outside of Lester and Hendricks this rotation scares the hell out of me. Hopefully they make a move sooner rather than later. Would kinda like to see Monty stretched out and get another shot in the rotation.
