Nico Hoerner is going straight to AA. Sure would be nice to see him ready to take over and 2nd next year. Big year for him, he dominated the lower levels.

Darvish pitched much better than the stats indicate. He was being squeezed by the ump. A worry about Yu would be the drop in volocity in his final inning of work. Front office can’t think this pen is gonna make it a full season. Also more Madden being a idiot with the pen. All these days off and you let Q go 80+ pitches in relief
Our staff giving out free passes also doesn't help... some of that is being squeezed. Ump wasn't calling anything high in the zone his zone was not the best tbqh. But still 14 walks...

As long as they can put up some runs it will help the bullpen. Also getting the starters to go deeper in games is huge. That killed us early last year when a starter couldn’t get through the 4th
A lot of that was Chatwood... I think we should be ok with that this season unless Yu becomes our 2019 chatwood
I wouldn't say Q was amazing. He was amazing at getting himself out of every jam he got himself into but he got himself into some bad positions once again due to too many walks.
It’s because of all the depth we have in pitching. Joe is just flexing on all the other teams in the division showing how little we care because we have arms for days.
Average 10 runs a game and go 1-2. Excellent work out of the pitching staff as a whole to start the year.
I have no clue if some of the young arms who got sent down will do any better... But I know what they kept on the main roster is straight trash.
