How does ESPN justify paying Joe lunardi hundreds of thousands of dollars each year, just to do something that some average Joe can whip up. I don’t think he’s ever been 100% correct.
Last four Byes - Davidson, Indiana, Miami, iowa state Last four in - Rutgers, notre dame, Michigan, A&M first four out - Wyoming, MSU, Xavier, Oklahoma
Michigan played essentially as a top 20ish team the last 8 weeks of the season per Torvik after starting 7-6.
my problem isn’t with Michigan, it’s how a team that went 20-12, lost on a prayer in the big 10 semis, and has a net ranking in the 30s gets a play in game for an 11 seed.
Michigan was not spending today begging for an NIT invite. They got in easily. (Puts fluffy Irish hat back on and hits the bars)
Michigan isn't winning 2 games in this tournament, if it even wins 1, but at least Juwan hasn't missed a tournament (until next year).
I think playing in Dayton can be beneficial for a team on the edge. Indiana will be in a lot better rhythm than St. Mary's, who will go more than 9 days without a game.
Michigan was the last bye and 1 spot ahead of IU, so it was close. I saw IU had 4 quad one wins, but two of them in the BTT. Having 2 quad 1 wins over the course of 30 games maybe gave the nod to Mich? I don’t think the committee values conference tourney games as much as others, for right or wrong.
*******Official B1G TEN basketball thread/ IOWA owns Michigan State and Mark Pepperonio can suck my D!$k*******
If it took Iowa winning the BTT for you to find desire for another human being to touch your ding-a-ling instead of just the livestock, I suppose that's progress.
TJD will play in the NBA, don't be obtuse. He's definitely more Jane than Tarzan far too often, but he can step onto an NBA court and contribute defensively today. It's weird/perplexing that he hasn't tried to expand his offensive game, though. He's fluid enough that you'd think the last 2-3 years would have seen his face up game really explode.
Show me where I said you lied? He’s a beast in college but his game doesn’t translate to the NBA? He has no range and he’s only 6’9”, there are tons of guys who are that height.
