Yeesh now it’s that someone raised $2m for the Arbery family and the jurors know about George Floyd, therefore the family is paying off jurors.
Not really. He's allowed to make his record. The judge could ask him to hold his objections to a break when the jury is out, but even that can get dicey.
And yes, every cop that detains a “suspect”, witnesses another cop commit a crime against that “suspect”, and does nothing to stop it should be tried as at minimum an accessory to that crime. It is criminal gang behavior that would lead to any minority being charged in a similar situation. Cops gangs should not be treated any differently.
I agree with the anti-police sentiment. I think the biggest issue is trying to compare a group that is legally empowered to detain people to citizens who are committing a crime by doing so. That and he kept saying he had a ton of places to run and was never detained. Like any reasonable person being chased by a truck would just think strategically about which yards they could run through.
Agree And depends on what to mean by “does nothing,” as I would also be cool with them being charged with murder.
Didn't catch the beginning, what is the "training" he kept talking about that he had. Also the clearly fake cry when he talked about the shooting, he was very matter of fact before and immediately after that 10 second cry
The shooter’s defense is basically “there was a guy pointing!” Therefore he was sure he needed to give chase.
I love the prosecutor hitting him on probable cause. He really wants to say there was probable cause because he was black.
FYI judge, Jesse Jackson is in the classroom and there was someone not in the courtroom saying they support black pastors. -Asshole McGee, Esq.
This lying mother fucker knows he murdered Arbery. This prosecutor has him basically admitting on the stand, too. Why did he even waive the 5th?
Hail Mary. Their only chance was them making a personal connection with the jury that he was a scared little boy.
They don’t think that murdering a black person is illegal, these are the same group of people who thought filming the murder and releasing the video of said murder to the public was a good idea.
Well the snap sailed way over his head and he then kicked it out of the back of the end zone instead of just falling on it.
Based on how this is going I’d be surprised to see the dad, but Bryan’s lawyer might talk him into sitting his stupid ass up there
Would he be the last defense witness? I haven't watched maybe more than 5 minutes of this before today.
I really hope the judge allows the Bryan statement to police that Travis used the N word over the dead body.
If you guys haven’t been watching on a TV network like court TV that shows Joe Namath and Jimmie Walker hocking Medicare reviews 12 times an hour you’re really missing out.
Only thing I want to watch is the defendants dragged behind a truck for 200 miles and then thrown in the swamp
Uh excuse me sir, I’m an FSU fan and watch all of our games on the ACCN. We get Lindell’s sweet pillow talk AND those combat sunglasses.
This self defense theory is insane, they chased a guy with guns drawn, cornered him, then shot him because they thought he had a gun (he didn’t). Clearly self defense
This is probably a dumb question. But are all 3 charged with the same crimes and will the outcome be the same? Meaning any chance say the dad/son get convicted and the friend get off?
Judge admonishing the prosecution for the death sentence for theft question and will instruct them to disregard.
Wait - did the defense argue he committed suicide by cop - because he resisted a 'citizen's arrest' ?
That one attorney really hates black people. just wanted to bring attention a guy outside the courtroom has a BLM mask
He represents Bryan, regarding the felony murder count he’s saying his client couldn’t have anticipated what was going to happen and used the analogy you can’t anticipate suicide by cop so you can’t anticipate suicide by citizens arrest. Basically saying arbery was cornered and instead of being taken into custody, forced the mcmichaels to shoot
That was my thought. I've only seen the video and haven't been paying attention to the trial, so was wondering if this was a possibility. Still think he's guilty, but was curious
I think the defense might be misunderstanding how self-defense laws work. "We had to kill him because he was afraid for his life"
