When I was at the Billy Joel concert last summer it looked like a war zone with all the olds getting medical attention everywhere. I mean it was literally everywhere. It was extremely concerning.
My neighborhood borders a 1840’s era farm and a nature preserve, then the nature preserve follows a decent sized tributary to the Little Miami River that has a valley too narrow for a road and hooks up with a different nature preserve. As a result, we get everything—foxes, turkeys, eagles, over run with deer. Ohio bobcats have been spotted in the neighboring county, up the Ohio River. They’ll be here within 10 years migrating along the Little Miami river flood plain from the Ohio.
As much as I admire your desire to continue to house a buffet of rabbits for the local foxes, I am quoting this for when you post about how the skunks have taken residence at some point.
They aren’t even a native species in the eastern US. Deforestation plus their ability to adapt and thrive in urban environments has allowed their population to grow exponentially.
We have coyotes too. A few years ago, one of our neighbors thought she was feeding someone’s lost dog from her back porch and posted a picture on the neighborhood Facebook page, only to be told she was feeding a coyote for two weeks.
I was decently intoxicated on the patio while eating a crab cake sandwich I had just picked up around sunset at the Fenwick Island beach house a couple weeks ago, when a large fox darted past my view in the sand. Startled me for a second and then I went back to my sandwich and beer. Foxes are cool animals IMO.
Ours are jumpers, like four feet straight up in the air. They look like cats pouncing on prey. They have wiped out every mole on the block, apparently moving on to rabbits now.
We had some dumb lady on the Neighborhood app constantly calling the coyotes that cut through our yards from time to time wolves. I don’t think anyone has the heart to tell her.
Sitting next to a pro body builder on my flight. He just did a show in Chicago and he’s making me feel very inadequate. AMA
Apparently, Cardale Jones held a charity softball game this weekend and Zach Boren and Tywone Malone out on a show.
I can’t think of anything that has a higher delusional state than pro bodybuilders Let’s cheat death and abuse the fuck out of steroids to achieve some figure that most people view as ridiculous. They look like they’d pull every muscle in their body if they ran a 40 love all strength sports but fuck bodybuilding, love Arnold though good talk
i was eavesdropping and it sounded like he qualified for Mr Olympia this weekend? I think he might have been juicing
He’s infamous for reporting one of our recruits dead after he was shot 16 years ago. Jamel Turner is still alive to my knowledge.
I watched the 4th quarter and was entertained. They said Carmen's Crew plays the defending champs next game...a team called Heart Fire. I went to their roster and didn't recognize a single name, which obviously doesn't mean shit.
watched 2 1/2 quarters, you got the good part. Dayton at 1 point was on a 7-0 run over 5+ minutes Haven’t heard of half the CC team or know who’s coaching. Sullinger was annoying, Kyle Young was a big spark
Replacing some landscaping and cutting up timbers that had those heavy duty screws in them(drill couldn’t get out) that are sharp as fuck. Got a bad bounce and while was wearing pants to be cautious, still took a pretty direct hit and cut me quite good. Fun Monday for this moron
One of my favorite things about Urban is that he was never afraid to put something out there regarding depth chart and where players stood.
Also, wasn't Urban the king of "or"? Sometimes the starter(s) would be listed with an "or" but more commonly I recall there being a starter but then there would be 3-4 guys below the starter and they were all presented as being even with each other because they were connected by "or". Look at our depth chart for the 2016 Clemson game. There are 13 of them...lol. That was literally the first game I searched to find a depth chart and there are 13. Spoiler
The 3 man rotation of Hubbard, Holmes and Lewis will always be one of my favorites. None of them were truly elite but all 3 were menaces to play against.
I at least appreciated the “or” filled depth chart over what we get now which is nothing. Ryan Day doesn’t have to do it but as a fan it was nice to reference
