Brown got 3 snaps in the first half. Solid “QB competition” you have going there Ryan. That was one of the most frustrating halves of Buckeye football I’ve seen. The play calling is atrocious.
When we lost to Va Tech in 2014, I remember thinking our young OL was trash. Months later we were pushing around Bama. It's a lot of missed assignments on the OL so far, esp picking up the second level rush. That is easier to clean up than dudes getting beat 1:1.
The short yardage play calling has been incredibly frustrating, multiple runs of 1-2 or negative yardage and an abysmal 1/6 on third down conversions
He dropped the ball before he got targeted. DB made a nice play but it looked like if he hadn't the ball was going to drill Tate in the hands.
I’m not panicking and don’t think we’ll be this conservative all season but it’s definitely been frustrating so far
Trying to maintain some perspective here - any surprise or disappointment in Simmons is actually on us - not sure we should’ve had even moderate expectations for a guy who has never played LT until a month ago and was decent but not amazing for a bad team in a minor conference.
Quick check in... Defense looks solid. The offense is fucking embarrassing given the amount of talent at their disposal. No excuses about first half of first game. The offense looks absolutely atrocious. Ok, carry on..
It's an awesome Man-Cave dungeon I'd love to have you and my man Bosa over to watch games. My wife's even cooks fantastic dinners every Sat-Sun during football season... But yes you are correct. I'm in my dungeon.
Literally the same shit over and over and over. We’ve got bad Day so far. Was one of everybodies big concerns.
Hey, our soecial teams coverage is fucking awful again.... Shocking. Just like every year. Our tackles are going to be a problem.... They have been awful. They better improve there, or this team is going nowhere.
Wasn’t planning on drinking around the kids this afternoon, but these play calls are making me thirsty
