That sounds perfect. He had been concerned about getting them to C deck but neither of us were aware of the elevators. Thank you
Neighborhood had an RC boat race in the pond tonight. JR proceeded to get his boat stuck in cat tails 20’ out in the middle of the pond. Had to borrow one neighbor’s waders and another neighbor’s pool skimmer, wade out into the pond to retrieve it. Two steps in the muck gives way and I overtop the waders flooding myself with E. coli poop water. Just got out of the hottest shower I could stand taking. I can still smell it. Still managed to save to boat. Anyone know how to clean pond gunk stench out of the inside of hip waders?
When I was in the dorms, our whole floor did a shirtless face paint and costume thing for a nationally televised game against Illinois. The OSU Block O student section was general, unassigned seats. Some guy came to us and said we were in his seats. I told him to fuck off, so he swung at me. I didn’t swing back, but pushed him. He was wasted and rolled down like 15 feet of stairs. Ushers called the cops on him. The cops made me leave too. It was amicable and the cops walked out with me. ABC caught the moment, with the cops escorting me out, done up shirtless with face paint, and made some wisecrack about me. My grandmother was watching the game and already left a message on my answering machine before I even got back to my dorm. I had to call her back and assure her I didn’t need bail.
herb.burdette ..what did they do with the dorms in Ohio Stadium? My Grandpa lived in them while he was at OSU.
This is correct. I just remember walking the shoe as a kid and seeing a kid playing n64 while I was in line for a hot dog.
What was so bad about it? Couldn't care less about watching it, just see a bunch of twitter in an uproar over trannies.
I am so many surveys behind…I need to get a minute to sit and mess with these 1. Will Howard is the absolute starter with Sayin as the clear backup. 2. See question one…QB battle not settled 3. All of them 4. I’ve been so lucky to attend a lot but hard to argue with Oklahoma because of buckwild and Brewtus 5. Tressel for sure followed by Urban
It’s so damn scripted and not living by the moment at all. It’s not the Olympics themselves but the production. Man so many great memories of just letting moments live but we can’t have that anymore. US comes out…let’s cut to a video of Beyoncé. Just dumb not to let a moment happen. I’m old and realizing all traditions are dead.
The youngest two were excited to watch with me. I feel like I should apologize for asking if they wanted to watch this.
Word. I feel I'm gonna watch some shit on peacock but I have no desire to stream swimming or T&F in the middle of the day, I need that in primetime with a drink in my hand
100%….and because of that…we’re going to have scripted shit. I just want fuckers winning gold and me losing my mind.
Also add some of the most obvious lip synching I’ve ever see . Just a cheesy, horrible production. “Let’s cut to this pre recorded video of Assassin Creed carrying the torch for the 50th time”
They eliminated them when we remodeled in 1999-2000. The bottom level on the West side was a band room right where you walk in the main rotunda, then dorms to the right of it. Entrances were on the outside, so no access to the stadium itself.
No, very interesting chapter in swimming history that is largely forgotten. There was a star coach in Hawaii, most of his swimmers were Japanese-Hawaiian. Most coaches wouldn’t take them both race and post war stuff. Mike Peppe at OSU did, he had a pipeline of native Hawaiian swimmers. Ford Hiroshi Konno won golds in 1952 and 1956, two silvers also in distance events and the 4x200. In the swimming hall of fame. Yoshinobu “Yoshi” Oyakawa won the 100 back in 1956. There may be others, but I know those two because I find that whole story is fascinating. Both as a Swim nerd and Ohio State fan.
My knowledge of OSU swimming is limited to living one house away, but not next door, to three women’s swimmers in 1993. They got up in the morning at ungodly times, and my roommates and I lived on a completely separate circadian rhythm.
Not trying to speak for the guy but hippocast coached the favorite for 200 breast I did that 4:30 shit from like 10-16, it was miserable.
Funfact: this is objectively the top thread for conversations about Blackstones. Congrats. I'm going with the 36." Do you recommend naked, hard cover, or the hood option? Spoiler
So you went with the "hood." I'm leaning towards the "hard cover" in the middle picture. It's less expensive, and I don' need functionality of a hood to trap heat: I'll sear/grill and if I need to melt cheese I'll just use a basting dome. Seems like either cover option is just to protect the cooking surface.
I don’t read the comments fully obviously Thought you meant a heavy grill cover which is clutch Anyways I cooked on a hard cover a couple weekends ago and it was awkward trying to find a place to put it Depends on space and layout I guess I like the hood with my backyard space area Use the BS 2-3 times a week
