It would be awesome if our corporate overlords at Fox would allow us to play a home night game that anyone gave a shit about. Such a cool atmosphere that the players and fans are deprived of.
If there’s one game that needs to be at night next year, this is the one. Opening weekend, playing Texas as we come off a national title. Let the fans rock the shoe and make life hell on them.
Damn, had high hopes for him, but also not surprising, especially if the early reports re: Sanchez are true And Texas Tech has been paying kids a ton of money in the portal--and he was originally committed there IIRC--maybe he can head back there and get a nice payday from TT in the process.
I really like the red and the white suits they had. I like the zip up over the crew dicks was selling
I’d say PSU the way the OL just grinded out the clock to put the game away and my favorite play clinched it Oregon of the playoffs for sure. That was THE big test and it was just belt to ass. Defensive, it can only be Jack Offensive, I think the opening td vs Tennessee. It was just like uh oh Will has a deep ball now. It was the “Uh oh Happy learned how to putt” moment
You’ve been a wonderful addition and you’ve got the degrees. Love having you around and hope you continue to post even if/when FSU is doing better
I noticed Jack has his cut up the pant, behind his knee, and it goes high up. I never noticed until the playoffs. This was the first time I noticed it for Quinshon too
Linemen, receivers, tight ends, backs... OSU had elite-tier blocking through the playoff. Not sure any team in any season has done much better than OSU did at all position groups.
100% this is why we won a natty. Blocking top to bottom was elite. Everyone on the field is a top notch blocker outside of Jeremiah Smith, who, let's be honest, doesn't need to be because more often than not he's either going to be the guy with the ball in his hands, or on the opposite side of the field as the ball. And I do think he will be a great blocker by the time he leaves Ohio State. But Emeka, Carnell, Innis, Rodgers, the TEs, Henderson, Judkins....EVERYONE blocks. And well.
I feel good about Peoples getting a year to learn pass pro from Quinshon and Trey. They were elite at it. Lock must coach it hard
favorite game of the regular season? Penn State, two goal line stands at the end of each half, then straight up physical run game to grind out the clock. In the road, it was a great bounce back after Oregon and Nebraska had the critics chirping. favorite game of the CFP run? Easily Tennessee, it was a total cathartic release from all the negativity that overwhelmed the weeks leading to it. The fans who showed up for that one weren’t the ones bitching the entire month and it was fantastic to listen to Herbstreit squirm as his narrative slipped away immediately. favorite offensive and defensive plays of the year? This may be obscure, but I loved the opening pass to Gee Scott against Oregon. It was basically, fuck you, we’re here to play. Set the tone. Defensive play is Sawyer’s TD. favorite game of the regular season? the Penn St game. won in fashion outsiders didn't believe OSU could execute favorite game of the CFP run? the Rose Bowl. it was like a video game with that 34-0 start favorite offensive and defensive plays of the year? JJ 1st TD vs Oregon in Pasadena. Jack's strip sack, scoop, & score. 3rd would be the Downs punt return vs IU
