As I was saying yesterday...they won a bunch of games by 4 points or less and then the B1G figured out how to beat their two 7-footer lineup and have been basically trash down the stretch.
I think this is the right answer. Even if Jeremiah reaches GOAT WR status...you have to take GOAT OT. Chase was basically unstoppable.
Disagree. They would have some weird 50s-60s serial killer vibes in the right white unis with those helmets. I'd like to see it.
I’m down on the sport and kinda hate Tom Ryan but this was a really cool story, lowest ranked finalist in 6-7 years, overcame cancer, mom also was a 4x fencing AA and in our hall of fame https://ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/wrestling/roster/brandon-cannon/11570
I couldn't tell you anything about Ryan other than he's been our coach forever. Seems like the whole sport is miles behind Sanderson.
He created a monopoly of the sport and USA delivered an egg of all eggs at the Olympics so can always use that against him. He can have his NCAA dynasty
Chase Young was never the same after his injury. Defensive ROY, 7.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles was a great start. Missed most of two seasons after that.
Chase Young had a stretch of games in 2019 that were as dominant as we have seen, especially that early game against Wisconsin. Stroud is my choice too, acknowledging that Pace was phenomenal. Put any semblance of a rushing game with Stroud in 2022 and we win it all. We still should have beat Georgia running with Dallan Hayden, Trayanum and XJ.
He got boo’d that day. Everyone did. The offseason 1991 into 1992 was the worst I have seen the negativity at our program. We lost 3 of 5 to close the year and one of the wins was a near miss at home against Indiana, followed by 31-3 loss to Michigan. We barely beat Louisville to open 1992, then struggled with BG, playing our first in-state team in decades. The crowd wanted Cooper dead.
Whoever decided to make rushing box scores like that back in the day should be executed if they aren’t already dead
Is Tom Ryan the best we can do? I know we just extended him through 2027. But it feels like the program is stale/going backwards.
Taking away the Cael aspect of it, I really don’t have a big issue with him personally. Yes we get our asses kicked by them but we compete regularly with the others. I just wish we knew how to mat wrestle. It’s just isn’t a focus in Ohio wrestling, it’s all neutral
We weren't 2nd tier in the Big Ten this season. I'm not even comparing to Penn State- that's just unfair to anyone.
i honestly had no idea luke farrell was still in the league (and may have forgotten that he existed at all)
Tegra was on my flight to Dallas Sunday and maybe the largest person I’ve ever seen. Great way to spend his spring break.
I’m usually very critical of our OL, but I feel pretty good heading into Spring. Gunners dont bet me on anything and jinx this.
