Yeah I'd imagine the money guy will keep it going for another year or two to try to save face and then realize it's not worth it
I appreciate Cleveland.com’s effort on the recruiting-related podcasts, but man are they bad. Constant wrong information, not talking about relevant recruits, talking about recruits that aren’t relevant, unaware of guys committed elsewhere, etc. Their class projection podcast was a real tough listen.
Survey 1. Give me the starting OL game 1 2. Better chicken: fried, baked in the oven, grilled or smoked? 3. Who is the most unlikeable professional athlete? 4. Do you use a lawn service/pest control? 5. What are your Mother’s Day plans?
1. LT: Onianwa LG: Montgomery C: Hinzman RG: Tshabola RT: Siereveld 2. Smoked 3. Deshaun Watson 4. yes to both. 5. going to Huron to celebrate with my wife, mom, and MIL. Got Sarah a spa day at Walden in Aurora.
1.) OT -- Max Wray OG -- Tyler Gerald C -- Liam McCullough OG -- Connor Smith OT -- Kyle Trout 2.) Grilled 3.) Aaron Rodgers 4.) Use a lawn service for fertilizer/weed control. Seems to get pricier every year/is expensive. Dicked around for like an hour a couple months ago trying to find a cheaper option, but quickly learned they all are pretty pricey. I guess that's the price to pay have a luscious lawn and no weeds. I have a buddy that is extremely handy and he sprayed his lawn himself a few weeks ago...got the solution wrong and fried his whole lawn. So, don't think I'll be doing it myself any time soon. 5.) Going out to a brunch buffet. Then having my in-laws over for dinner and grilling out either chicken sandwiches or burgers.
1 - LT - Pace LG - Lachey C - Bently RG - Murphy RT - Stringer 2 - I like them all. I can’t eat fries so that sucks. I would say Baked thighs covered in lemon. 3 - Draymond 4 - I do it myself. My dad brings his sprayer over to kill weeds around the trees and sprays my pond 5 - my son will be playing basketball so won’t know the schedule until Sunday.
1. Onianwa-Montgomery-Hinzman-Tshabola-Siereveld 2. depends on what part of the chicken...Fried is my favorite but smoked thighs or even breasts is pretty damn tasty. not huge on grilled chicken in general 3. Phil Mickelson 4. I do not 5. visiting my mom. she entered end of life care last week as she has 20+ brain mets due to cancer. so this will be my last Mother's Day to say thank you for all she has done for me
1) Lambert LT, Schrauth LG, Craig C, Jagusah RG, Wagner RT 2) Smoked clearly 3) Nick Swisher 4) No yard 5) None - flowers and stuff
Denzel Burke signed a 4 year, $4,520,212 contract with the Arizona Cardinals, including $320,212 signing bonus, $320,212 guaranteed. Lathan Ransom signed a 4 year, $5,157,120 contract with the Carolina Panthers, including $957,120 signing bonus, $957,120 guaranteed.
I had a couple beers with Swisher at the Varsity Club the night before the Penn St game in 2002 (this one Herb). The buddy we were with was the SID for the OSU baseball team when Swisher was there, so he knew him pretty well and Nick seemed like a decent enough guy at the time, but he also wasn't in MLB yet so maybe we shouldn't consider him a pro yet for this exercise. Regardless, my buddy was still working for the OSU athletic department then so I also got to see the WHAC and ran into Zwick and Quinn Pitcock when we were walking in, as well as see the stadium, field, and the locker room for game day (which was different than the 'normal' locker room) and took a pic with MoC's helmet in his game day locker. Good times friends despite it raining much of that Friday and part of Saturday, too. Spoiler: hello
Swisher’s short period with the White Sox was a trainwreck he might be the most hated white sox player of all time by white Sox fans which is saying something
1) Onianwa-Montgomery-Hinzman-Siereveld-Daniels 2) Chicken cutlets are best answer, but I dont consider those to be fried nor baked. A well made chicken cutlet is the perfect way to prepare any piece of chicken. 3) Honestly, I wouldn't have any thought on this. I generally think a lot more athletes than we care to admit are probably pretty scummy. 4) I cut my own grass and lightly shun anyone that doesn't (unless you have extenuating circumstances). I would love to get our yard sprayed, but thats not in the budget at the moment. 5) My mother passed away back in 2016 and it was always her favorite holiday. For the first couple years it was really hard for me, but since we have had kids its changed my perspective quite a bit. I think our plan is to go over to my in-laws and grill out. I got the wife a massage, and then some plants for her to put down. She loves Peony's, so I got her a Peony tree and then flowers/plants for each of our boys birth months.
1. Onianwa-Montgomery-Hinzman-Siereveld-Daniels 2. Fried fam 3. Not sure who to put here sir--Connor Stallions wouldn't count since he's not an athlete--so maybe Draymond or Aaron Rodgers for now but can edit later. 4. Negative Ghost Rider. When i bought my place in late 2021, i was happy to find a townhome without an HOA and also no yard for any sort of maintentance, it just has some plants out front that I trim a few times a year. And actually recently moved into a rental with the GF and the owners cover yard maintenace and pool cleaning a couple times a month, so we just have do some minor stuff here and there sir. 5. I have the kids until 3 on Sunday--i offered my ex-wife to get them back early on Sunday and she laughed and said no thanks--so the 3 of us will be taking my dad to lunch since his birthday was yesterday and then I hope we can 'visit' my mom's ashes where they're resting at the columbarium at our church. And then will likely take my GF and her son to dinner that night and possibly to a movie, too, after dropping my kids off at 3. I got her a couple gift cards to clothing stores she likes from me, as well as a candle and some lego flowers and a card for her son to give her, while I also got a small gift and card for the kids to give my ex (some candles, bath stuff).
1) Rice guy, Montgomery, Hinzman, Siereveld, Minnesota guy 2) Fried 3) Current - Deshaun Watson Retired (and now coaching) - Diego Simeone 4) There’s a kid in the neighborhood that passed out fliers for mowing last year and started using him. We spray outside ourselves. We used Orkin in the past but don’t seem to be worse off using canned stuff ourselves annually. 5) Watch El Clásico, pick up my MIL, go to my grandpa’s for my mom where we’ll grill steaks. Then probably take my MIL to dinner before we take her home. Glad she agreed to join us with my mom so she’s not alone most the day (First year without the FIL)
1. Onianwa, Montgomery, Hinzman, Siereveld, Minnesota kid I forget his name and will not be googling 2. fried 3. Trevor Bauer 4. nope 5. spending the day with my mom, getting lunch
Trevor Bauer is a good one, but occasionally seeing him get lit up in a game in some random country always makes me chuckle
Jordan Hancock signed a 4 year, $4,520,212 contract with the Buffalo Bills, including $320,212 signing bonus, $320,212 guaranteed.
Emeka Egbuka signed a 4 year, $18,172,742 contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, including $9,856,536 signing bonus, $18,172,742 guaranteed.
1. Onianwa montgomery hinzman siereveld daniels 2. I'll go smoked, but if we're talking chicken wings, then it's smoked and then fried or even smoked and double fried if you're feeling frisky. 3. Draymond Green sure seems like a real piece of shit. I imagine Ty Cobb would have been an obvious answer at one point. And maybe OJ after he murdered his ex-wife and her friend. 4. Yes, both 5. inlaws coming in town, going to my parents house with family. Smoking some short ribs. My niece has a play in the morning (Lion King in case you were curious. She plays the monkey that holds simba in the air on the mountain).
I hadn't heard of him either so had to click on article and sounds like UM is considered favorite at the moment.
