I haven't watched my first movie for 2024 yet. Thinking about saving it for It's a Wonderful Life during Christmas. I have never seen it and someone talked it up the other day and it piqued my interest.
There are some posts about it on facebook--including a couple reputable people below--but still haven't seen much about it via google, etc. and only details I've seen so far involve a potential heart attack, but i haven't seen any actual confirmation of that.
The Wrestler came out when I was in high school. My parents made me take my younger sister to a movie because we had been fighting a lot. We did not look up what the movie was about and assumed it was about some sort of high school/olympic wrestler. Drew Barrymore is just a terrible person from a terrible family. She's been married 4 times, engaged twice, all of them ended badly because they realized how terrible of a person she is. She abandoned family members. She crossed the picket line during the writers strike and said she was going to air her show without writers. After an enormous public backlash and probably realizing her show would be (even more) godawful without writers, she took it back. Drug addict. But mostly my nephew was on her show and I was displeased with how much airtime he got.
