I truly cannot believe how bad Jeff Okudah is.
We have a wasp nest in the ground right near our front door entrance. I’ve tried everything from spray, poison, and home remedy shit. Yesterday I got a massive blow torch and burned the fuck out of the ground and hole for 15 minutes. Today I did it for another 20. I’ve killed 500+ of these wasps and as I look out the window right now there’s hundreds swarming the area.
It’s time to call in a professional. I don’t know they will ultimately do but I’ve never seen more bees in my life.
We have something similar as we have a bees nest under our front step. We have done everything we can to get rid of them. Ironically someone told us to try and burn them out but it’s in our flower bed with the mulch. Not risking fire with dry mulch.
We have no idea what else to do lol
Yeah I lit a bush on fire. Had to dump water to get it out. It’s wild that they survived this burn. Makes no sense.
Whip your cock out and pee into it.
Damn. Good for him.
i'm fully OUT on the bears.
why did the bears pull fields?
Dalton started and was in for the first three plays. Then they brought Fields in for one play and he made a completion. It was strange. Of course Dalton proceeded to throw a pick.
My Oregon Gameday story, first, one of my roommates from college turned 50, so we rented this place near Riverbend in Cincinnati to watch the game and then go to the Dead and Company show later that night:
40 minutes before kickoff, the cable goes out and the Air BNB owner can’t do anything about it. Google tells us the nearest bar is Tostada’s, which is owned by a very nice Mexican guy.
We literally were the only people in this place the whole afternoon. We watched the game without sound.
The Mexican owner of Tostados asked if Oregon’s second touchdown was actually a replay of the first, because he was t paying attention.
After the game we went back to the rental, grilled out, hit the show, then stayed up until about 3:00 AM.
I didn’t think a single football thought the rest of the day after 3:30 PM.
Lol tostados and their low ass ceiling
The owner of Tostados was actually cool as shit, just serving us beers and chatting us up while we had the whole place to ourselves.
Why was the game on mute?
The owner didn’t have the ability to put the sound on. We just ordered 32 ounce beers and stopped caring about it as they game pretty much sucked.
It seemed very appropriate, so we went with it.
That makes me want him more
How was the show? Was gonna go but went to the game instead. Haven’t seen them with Mayer.
Agreed. Looks like a hell of a coach.
Mayer and Chimenti were really good. Weir held his own, but it’s obvious he isn’t what he used to be.
Overall, it was a great crowd and a lot of fun. Not too many people under 40 in attendance.
It’s a pretty cool spot. Have been there blacked out on several occasions
The place has one of these old 1960’s era Budweiser lamps hanging from the ceiling:
The owner spent about five minutes trying to turn it on for us after we remarked how old it was.
Sevyn started his own NFT, should be worth a fortune with his profile
*looks like he deleted Instagram post about it, rough go for the kid
Apologies to gunners, but I can’t quit.
There are 130 FBS teams. After two games, the good news about Ohio State is that we are the elite passing team we thought we would be.
We are 4 nationally in pass offense, 8 in total offense, and 21 in pass efficiency. We are 18 nationally in sacks allowed.
The bad news is as bad as it seems:
Rush Defense: 123
Total Defense: 112
Scoring Defense: 108
3rd Down Defense: 118
Total First Downs Allowed: 117
CJ Stroud getting shit for his play boggles my mind.
This is actually a critical week for Ohio State as it relates to the Big Ten and it’s spot in the playoffs.
If Penn State (10) beats Auburn (22), they jump us, but that’s okay. Penn State has Indiana at home on 10/2 and it sets up a potential top ten Iowa (5) and Penn State (10) game on 10/9.
I tend to think it’s a good thing if we remain top 10 and there are two other B1G teams ranked above us.
Indiana hosts Cincinnati (8), possibly eliminating the AAC and returning Indiana to the list of ranked teams.
MSU joins the list of ranked teams if they knock off Miami (24). They are 29 this week in teams receiving votes.
Even Nebraska at Oklahoma (3) and Purdue at ND (12) are potentially important, but not holding out too much hope there.
The Oregon game had an early 2018 feel to it, back when we couldn’t run the ball for shit and the defense was trash, but Haskins was throwing for 400 a game.
We eventually started to run the ball well and we will this year as well because this is a really good offensive line.
We have Tulsa, Akron, at Rutgers, Maryland and at Indiana to get better each week before Penn State.
I thought BCarp brought up a good point on the radio this morning. Running struggles are probably due to us having 4 OT's out there. Probably best pass blocking line in CFB, but harder to get a push due to size.
29.7 PFF score for Eichenberg.
26 defensive players took snaps in the Oregon game
Combs deserves all the heat he's getting, but Al Washington for some reason never gets any criticism from the media. Wish we would have just let him go to Tennessee because he's clearly a dunce if he thinks Borland and now Eichenberg should be playing at Ohio State.
Yeah I’ve seen calls for him to be benched and my only response is that I’m sure those people would be very rational and patient with any growing pains from the other freshmen QBs we have
I think Washington’s status will test Day more than Coombs. If things don’t improve, I think Day can fire Coombs without hesitating.
He was with Washington at BC, so we’ll see if he gets too sentimental for old friends like Meyer did.
I have said what I’ve said about Coombs for years and won’t repeat it, but this is a shockingly high number if it’s not pumped by special teams snaps that were t real defensive snaps.
Never ever listen to local sports radio but car was on Laurainitis show this morning. He didn't sugarcoat anything and was PISSED at how many people were playing. Also basically said Shaw is just horrible and can't be on the field.
Tyreke Smith 51
Tyliek Williams 3
Who is ultimately deciding who starts? Is it the DC or does the position coach have the final call on that? Either way, we've somehow decided for 5 years now that the defense needs a slow-footed liability in the middle. Al is a good recruiter and seemed to do a solid enough job with what he had to work with the past few years, but I have zero sentimentality with anyone on the D staff other than LJ. Blow it up
Lol this is insanity. Literally treating a top 12 team like an intersquad scrimmage
Even more inexplicably, he was already playing a bulk of the snaps BEFORE Proctor died
Trying to find audio now, interested in hearing it even if probably pretty painful to hear, sounds like Austin Ward will be on in about 15 minutes
Damn, hate that.
