Dwayne just can’t get his shit together off the field.
What a waste of talent.
I don't remember there being any rumors of him being such a potato head while at OSU.
Nothing. Or coming into OSU.
His 1993 game against Washington was a lot of fun.
Washington was coming off their third straight Pac 10 title, with a national title in that run. We hosted them for the second night game in OSU history, first since 1985.
Wilkinson had a critical sack that killed Washington’s last real scoring chance.
We were largely irrelevant from a national standpoint from 1987-1992, but that put us back.
Dwayne’s not long for this NFL world. What a dumbass.
Gave him money and he’s been a complete jackass since then. Doesn’t seem like he’s doing anything illegal, just totally immature and headed towards being broke.
San Antonio holmes
I’ve always been Team Haskins but I always thought his Simba schtick was weird
When does carmen’s crew play?
Friday at 9pm on ESPN.
Appears J.D. Weatherspoon is on the team they are playing. He was a very good dunker.
I’ve seen this guy tweet this phrase several times now. I’m not sure if:
a) He thinks it’s “getting off” and not “going off”
b) He’s doing it because people like me will immediately go there
c) People use this saying and I’m just not aware
Not sure if I saw him on any of the recent top 5 lists; probably won’t be on mine whenever I get around to it ;)
Philly Brown improved every year.
Tho, I believe we beat Clemson if he doesn’t muff the punt.
I never wish away time or the summer but after the AP Poll was released I am officially in College Football mode. There are some big time matchups the opening weeks especially in the Big 10. I check the schedule every day and essentially have it memorized.
Week 0 (not great)
Nebraska @ Illinois - Bert’s debut
Hawaii @ UCLA - UCLA is very intriguing this year
Ohio State @ Minnesota
Boise St @ UCF (wish this one was late)
UNC @ Va Tech
Michigan St @ Northwestern
South Dakota St @ Colorado St
Penn State @ Wisconsin - unreal game to start the day
Stanford @ K State
W Michigan @ Michigan
Bama vs Miami (Atlanta)
Indiana @ Iowa - big potential here
West Virginia @ Maryland
Oregon St @ Purdue
Georgia vs Clemson (Charlotte)
LSU @ UCLA - most intriguing game of the day for me
BYU vs Arizona (Vegas)
Nevada @ Cal
Notre Dame @ FSU
Louisville vs Ole Miss (Atlanta)
Weeks 2 and 3 have some bangers all day long as well.
Georgia-Clemson is must watch TV and I think Clemson wins.
Penn State really needs to beat Wisconsin to get some momentum after last year. I'll take the Badgers.
Georgia/Clemson is a CFP game to start the year. Love that. Don’t care who wins- just want a good game. I think Georgia gets them.
Dabo is a better coach and DJ is better than JT Daniels, that's why I'm picking Clemson
Also that Saturday: user phunkybuck's birthday on the GOAT birthday weekend
I’m so ready for football, unfortunately it feels like I’m going to be missing quite a few Buckeye games live this year - thanks B1G Noon kickoff! All three boys play on separate soccer teams now (oldest in club, middle starting club that I’m coaching, youngest in community league that I’m helping coach), the younger two play baseball, and the oldest has several fall tournaments for lacrosse.
Is Palaie Gaoteote official yet?
Just ground them for three months.
Today’s 11W poll has been like 50/50 all day long. Which highlight reel is more fun — Braxton Miller or Ted Ginn Jr.?
Also I think I’ve decided that when I die and go to heaven I want to be greeted by Ted Ginn Jr. in one of the cocaine whites.
Teddy. That breakaway sprinter speed was just unlike anything I have ever seen before.
Braxton had more wow moments
I don't think the AP Poll has been released yet bruh...still like a month away
Right because he had more opportunities. I still unsurprisingly take Ted and think the 04 UM return is greater than any Braxton highlight. That return and then the VT spin would be the No. 1 seeds for each of them imo.
It’s definitely close, they were both electric with the ball in their hands. I gave Braxton the slightest of nods because he consistently had guys grasping for air.
You’re an AP poll
The muffed punt put a pretty big black eye on his season/career
Is you’re wife of drinking age yet?
Clemson is running through the ACC anyway and in the CFP with a Georgia loss, so might as well have them take Georgia out.
It’s arguable that the 2004 punt return was THE moment that we broke the will of Michigan and they have never been the same program since.
Gonzo's catch IMO for that moment
Liked Philly Brown but he’d be lucky to get playing time in a Ryan Day/Brian Hartline WR room
Please name Hartline OC and just make him HC when day wins us a few nattys and bolts to the patriots to take over for Bellicheck
Even she knows that at her tender age
I sat on the 35 on the Michigan side for that one.
The fear and anxiety already was there. It was exactly like sitting in Ohio Stadium in 1996. They all knew we were coming back, they just didn’t know how it was going to happen to them.
2004 was the high water mark. They had clinched the Big Ten, were top 10, and favorites.
We put together two different 90+ yard scoring drives, then Ted Ginn snapped their necks like a piece of celery.
They have never been the same since.
yankeye and I were at that game too...Gonzo catch was made right in front of us. There may have been some anxiety in the crowd leading up to it, but they were still in it. But after that catch, both the crowd and the UM defense gave up. They knew it was over.
