It’s been a long, long time since I did intellectual property work, but I’m pretty sure the Digital Milenium Copyright Act allows a copyright owner to provide notice and YouTube has to take it down. If they get more than a “whoops” accident, they will pull their YouTube access.

Also, once Scoop has notice that what they are doing is wrong, I believe they can be hit with willful infringement, which carries all kinds of penalties.

Something was off with him last year.
