I think the biggest issue is his shoulder prevented him from practicing this spring (and caused him to lose some weight) and as said, Saban’s defense is extremely complicated (perhaps unnecessarily so.) Outside of mike, CB probably is the toughest to learn on the fly so I don’t think anyone is terribly concerned right now. The prevailing thought remains that Ricks will win one of the spots even if it’s not until after the season starts. And if he doesn’t, that means Khyree and Kool Aid are balling out, so not the worst thing either.
They’re still loaded with weapons but think I saw 2 true freshmen were already slated to start on their line before their only good returning lineman was injured fuck Bijan too
I would laugh to death if their first drops were NBA Jam OSU shirts. I like everything I've seen from them for other schools, looks like Homage stuff before Homage went to shit.
Pretty good stuff. He has been at practice quite a bit and has some really good things to say about how the defense has looked.
2-3 years ago. I forget which country it was they were sourcing out of but it wore like a blind person put it together while someone else described to them what a person’s upper body looked like.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Notre Dame tries to attack. They have a great OL and a new QB/WR so I would think Marcus Freeman channels his inner-Tressel and tries to play a ball control ground game to slow the game pace. On the other hand, they faced the Knowles scheme in their bowl game and attempted 68 passes.
this will 100% be the play, and i'd disregard the offense in the bowl game, coan being a statue allowed OSU* to sell out to stop the run and he carved them up in the first half BUT (and this is good for you) their DC adjusted and we were FUUUUUUUCKED.
We have potential to play some really big games this year. 9/3 Notre Dame (5) is currently the only top 10 nonconference matchup for September in college football. ABC has it. 9/24 Wisconsin (18) will be unbeaten and ABC has it. 10/8 MSU (15) has to beat Washington, Minny and MD, but if they do, then they’re a top-10 team by that date. 10/22 Iowa (28) should be 5-1 with a Michigan loss, or 6-0. 10/29 Penn State (29) arguably has the toughest early schedule in the Big Ten at Purdue, at Auburn, at Michigan and Minnesota before us. We’ll see if that’s a ranked game. Michigan is 8 and should be favored in every game until us.
We’re even touting our TEs today. This is the high water mark. Anything further and we’re going to flood.
