Wrestling vs. Northwestern starts at 2pm. Thank god.
That's better than the snuff film I was searching for that would be more enjoyable than that first half
No one has any feel for the game. Carton appeared to have it at times. Everyone else just seems to go through the motions.
Rough up a bunch of nerds
Easy pass to Kaleb for a wide open 3. Nope, let's throw a fastball to his feet.
At least the women’s team is beating Wisconsin.
those two months of having a competent basketball team sure were fun.
Game made me sad but just saw that next season of Narcos comes out this week so that cheered me up. Gonna rewatch season 1 of Mexico.
I finished the Mandalorian today. Very good series.
Pumped for Narcos
There’s a new Narcos coming?
Wiltfong CB for the Jager Bomb
Yes, I would welcome a lineman that carries 270 like this
herb.burdette likes to post about how much OSU fans love Cardale....he ain't wrong....
5-STAR DT J.T. TUIMOLOAU
Prediction: Ohio State
247Sports Composite Rank: 4
High School: Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic
According to my colleague Brandon Huffman, the Buckeyes are in terrific shape at this point of the process with defensive line coach Larry Johnson’s track record a big factor. Ohio State hit big at Eastside Catholic this past cycle in Gee Scott Jr and would sure like to do it again. Washington is the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite, including Huffman’s current forecast. Alabama, Clemson and USC are also in the picture.
5-STAR ATH EMEKA EGBUKA
Prediction: Ohio State
247Sports Composite Rank: 9
High School: Steilacoom (Wash.)
If the five-star athlete with elite speed opts to leave the West Coast, I like Ohio State. Obviously Jimmy Lake and the Washington staff are doing all they can to keep Egbuka in-state with Clemson and LSU a couple of the other contenders, per Huffman. Don't sleep on Stanford, either.
What position does Mr. Egbuka look to end up at?
Also, why the fuck does Georgia keep recruiting so well?
I think we're recruiting him as a WR, but he could be an incredible DB
Probably receiver. Because Kirby is a really good recruiter and because of duffel bags.
Watching Georgia choke every year is pure delight
Georgia also has like 40 4 and 5 stars in state every year.
^That also helps a lot along with being the only decent program in the state. Obv the downside is that everyone in the SEC and elsewhere is coming for your in-state guys all the time.
No one seems to have info on what he is making, but unconfirmed reports are that Cardale, Landry Jones, and Josh Johnson got the XFL maximum $495,000.
The average XFL salary is $55,000.
The CFL is $113,043 with a $54,000 minimum.
If any of these guys makes an NFL practice squad, that’s $8,000 a week during the season for $136,000 total.
Are either one of these two close to a decision?
I’ll ask again next week.
I'm fascinated to see how our 2021 defensive line recruiting shakes out. We seem to be in good position with a ton of great prospects.
If the DL recruiting shakes out, we’re loaded on the OL and DL moving forward. I really like what Studrawa has done, and was 180 opposite on him at this point last year.
As long as one of them is this strapping young man, I'll be happy
That neck tho
That name tho
Buckeyes needed the Los Angeles Wildcats GM in 2018. Whomever that dude is does not like bad defense. Wildcats gave up 37 pts in Week 1.
Will always be one of my favorite Buckeyes. The complete 180 Cardale made at OSU was tremendous to watch.
He needs to ride out his playing days, then take some paid position with the alumni association as Archie Griffin fades out.
Will be interesting when they release new salaries for the OSU coaches....
USC OC Graham Harrell was one college coach the Eagles looked at hiring in January. Here’s another: Ohio State receivers coach Brian Hartline. Philly pursued the ex-NFL receiver to help with the team’s passing game and coach its wideouts, which is another sign of how the Eagles looked at trying to add some outside-the-NFL influence to their mix. Hartline wound up deciding to remain in Columbus in 2020, but Philly wasn’t the only team to show interest in this rising coaching star, and this isn’t the first year it’s happened. The Colts, for one, looked hard at Hartline a couple years ago, too.
Trading Yurcich’s $950 for Corey Dennis leaves some room to work.
There's always money.....just like they are always somehow enough scholarships
except for Zach Evans [\spoiler]
We’re still getting Ryan Day on the cheap at $4.5 compared to Meyer’s $7.6.
It's fucking Ohio State football, can we quit this nonsense about money
Who are you?
It’s Farva again.
Brian is one of my all time favorites. Watching him run down on kickoffs as a freshman was great.
Yeah...that was the main reason I posted it. He's a favorite of mine and one you don't think of much since hes not in the league.
I instantly loved Brian Rolle when he committed. Urban tried to flip him away from Tressel and he stuck with us. Probably my favorite LB of the late 2000s.
