Well he looks like a big meanie head.
Four of the top five in Ohio verballed and the fifth is an OSU legacy who plays in Columbus. The all Ohio part of our fan base probably does know what to do with their hands.
I believe that's our first commitment from Ironton since Reggie Arden
After having only seen his name in Athlon magazine, young Walrus was stunned to find out that Reggie Arden was a white dude
I have never been to Ironton but I doubt there's much diversity there
After reviewing Ironton, Ohio’s Wikipedia page I have determined that I would not live there
There’s not much there anymore, besides a small OU southern campus. Even the hospital I was born in is gone.
Gus Johnson again Saturday.
I think Clemson and Bama are beatable this year. Let’s get to the fucking playoffs and win the whole damn thing again.
Clem and OK gonna cake-walk into the CFP....
...maybe not OK, they'll have to play TX in the Big 12 Championship.
Cooper better get back soon....
EDIT for 11W link friends
Yes, as a recruit. We had a walk on who earned a scholarship from Ironton when he was a junior and senior in 2008-2009, Marcus Williams.
He had a fumble recovery against Michigan in 2008.
This is what I pay you for
Was Reggie Arden the one who got in a bar fight in Huntington with some Marshall players a few weeks before a game against Marshall?? I know someone from Ironton did, but can’t remember who. And I rather ask you than google it. I’m old fashioned.
Yeah, that was the rumor. He also had at least one, possibly two DUI’s before that if I can remember.
Indiana has been a 15+ underdog at home 4 times since Kevin Wilson took over in 2011.
MSU covered as a 16 point favorite in 2014.
We did not cover as 19 point favorite in a 52-49 win in 2012 or as a 21.5 favorite in a 34-27 win in 2015.
We covered 20.5 in a 49-21 win in 2017.
Indiana is 2-23 straight up when an underdog at home since 2011.
Since 1998, Indiana has been at least a 15 point underdog to Ohio State in 7 of 8 games played in Bloomington and a 9.5 underdog in the other. Ohio State is 6-2 against the spread and 8-0 straight up.
Ohio State is 74-12-5 all time against Indiana.
When we tied Indiana on the road in 1990 and Steve Tovar returned to his dorm, he knocked the water fountain off the wall of the 9th floor of Park Hall.
It happened for sure. It was on the local news here. I just couldn’t remember for sure which Ironton kid it was. It was between him and Tyler Whaley in my memory.
In 2001, I watched the Ohio State-Indiana game at a bar in Pittsburgh by myself as the only person in the bar for the noon game.
Of course nothing tops anything Mick does but 11W puts out some really great content with Jones' breakdowns, the snap counts article, and the plays that stand out. Just got a nice fill in this boring ass Tuesday night.
In 2001, Lydell Ross became the fourth true freshman in Ohio State history to have a 100 yard rushing game.
Mark Rea wrote a BSB article noting that Archie Griffin and Robert Smith did it, He forgot about Dante Lee’s 1989 Northwestern game, which saw three OSU RBs hit 100.
I don't really trust my judgement from that time period but liked Mark Rea a lot.
Mark Rea never liked me much, banned me twice.
I’m feeling very stream of conscious tonight.
I've consumed more caffeine today than any other day of my life, might be what meth feels like. Miracle if I sleep before 12.
I'm an easy crowd. I liked Rea. I liked Greene. I liked Nevada. I liked Craig. Hell, I even liked Naples. I didn't like Bgrupy.
Judging from that, I may be racist.
Bgrupy is on bucknuts and as dumb as ever
I liked Rea. He never liked me.
He got sensitive any time someone mentioned Jack Park after Rea wrote his own book.
He also liked to be board historian.
He didn’t like me in the same way a true blond hates a blond with a dye job whose roots are showing.
I waffled back and forth thinking that dude was the dumbest fucker in the greater Columbus area and thinking that he may be the greatest troll that I've ever seen.
Who the hell watches DVDs these days but the Buckeye classics collection was such a great purchase, all time great historian in Jack Park.
Mark Rea unbanned my account when I was heavily trolling nevada and Bill on scout so he’s cool in my book
You’re from Muskingum county so we all assumed it anyway
I’ve had a history of knowing random facts and you’re better at it than I am so I did not like you when you first came to TMB and read your posts waiting for you to slip up on your random facts
I like you now though
I’m sure I’ve shared this before but my wife went to Muskingum. She’s taken me there once, and we ate at the Denny’s.
There was a large group of black kids in there and they were a bit noisy but not anything crazy. The waitress came over and apologized to us and said “There’s a big convention nearby, we don’t normally have their kind in here”.
I asked my wife where in the hell she brought me
They usually refuse Asians at that Denny's. Consider yourself fortunate you got your Big Slam breakfast.
I loved Rax roast beef growing up
Rax had a chipped beef BBQ sandwich that was quite possibly the best hangover busting fast food sandwich ever made.
The new Bill Burr standup on Netflix is fantastic.
That baked potato bar
