Oregon message boards are somehow worse than usual. As a bonus we have some Mel Tucker apologists too!
just groundbreaking stuff here. I can’t believe no other coach in the history of football has ever thought about doing this!
The hatred Oregon fans have for CU during all this is just bizarre (looking at you, Alaskan Ark). The two teams have minimal history and it’s largely been one sided for like 25 years. I haven’t thought about or cared about Oregon from a CU perspective since the 2001 Fiesta Bowl (which sucked).
Some of the shit that pod posts is pretty dumb, but this takes the cake when literally every coach other than Dorrell has done this in Boulder (and everywhere else) for years.
It seems like CU fans have a gross misunderstanding of how most people feel about this current phenomenon. Obviously there are outliers, but it seems like most people are really enjoying the entertainment factor without much interest in wins or losses. Just embrace it, man.
UNC's 247 board is getting multiple Colorado/Prime threads a week filled with strong opinions one way or the other, the people at large are absolutely in their feels over this phenomenon

I'm on Colorado +21 tomorrow. Don't give them any real chance to win, but I think they will score enough that Oregon would have to put up a huge number to win by more than 21.
another thing to consider is gotta figure Oregon will attempt to run the shit out of the ball since CU is so bad at defending the run, clock game gonna reduce a couple of possessions for UO
Despite playing two cupcakes with plenty of garbage time, we’ve been passing much more than running this season under Will Stein.
I agree. I think that is what Oregon wants to do. The interesting part of that from the ducks side of things is Oregon did not run the ball all that well against TTU. I would say the new Oregon line still has to prove they can run the ball up the middle. The guards have not really proven they can get much push in the run game. Most of the running success so far has been outside and against juggernauts like PSU and Hawaii.
We like to line him out wide a lot with quick passes to him to get him the ball in space. He’s had 12 receptions to go along with his 27 carries on the year.
I know perception has drastically changed since the beginning of the season but you guys are still light years better than Colorado
Friends with Celemo. We work together. Oregon grad 93-97. Live in Portland area. Don’t bait me into an intro thread. Been lurking for a while obviously don’t post much. I haven’t wanted to come into an established community as some rando posting a bunch of takes. Since Celemo tagged me I felt responding was reasonable.
