EDC was a good time. Got there around 330 and went to the circuit stage Saw Bonnie X Clyde, Kaskade at sunset, went to main stage and got the end of of Kashmir which was mehhhhh. Nghtmre crushed it but Slander completely blew my mind. I was peaking around there and almost lost my god damn mind.
Most of it was way more heavy bass. Skipped Galantis and had no interest in Armin. The amount of people at the second stage for Zedd was a joke
I went to Hula a few weeks ago. It was my first festival. Rl grime was great, Cheese was solid, Bassnectar was meh, and Portugal. The man was nothing like I thought they'd be. I don't know how some of those people function in the real world.
The people we camped with got there Thursday night. We were maybe 200 yards from the entrance. Backs were to the parking lot. The walk wasn't bad. 5-10 minutes maybe.
we had a huge crew. totem was a 3 eyed raven or some shit. can't say it was better than 2016, but it was great.
for me personally, felt more like a 3 day concert on the beach compared to electric forest, Okee, Hula, and Bonnaroo where you are engulfed into the festival. the real world doesn't exist, just straight festival life. certainly not at a hotel or getting lunch at a restaurant (maybe I did hangout completely wrong). Guess i'm just splitting hairs and being cunty......Gators have had a rough season.
A festival is a festival is a festival. I agree I like the atmosphere of camping fests more, but that doesn't make other fests less festival.
How does Foster the People fit in there? Very odd. But then again they have become one of those bands that literally will play any fest that will have them
Okeechobees lineup out next Tuesday. With all the rumored delays I’m interested if they shit the bed or actually got some big names.
Susto that far down is a slap in the face. Lower half of the card from Sylvan Esso down is way more impressive than the top IMO
One of my buddies sent this to me today..rumored Lockn' '18 lineup. Not sure where he got it from, but certainly looks legit.
