Didn't think about posting I because I doubt anyone other than me cares. It's aight. Did VIP the past 2 years and I was worth it for the free booze, but doubt I will this year. Just want to see Dumpstaphunk mostly. Maybe Lee Bains. Think there was one or two more.
Yeah I've seen them 2 or 3 times. Late night at Lockn 2 was amazing. Thinking about seeing them Saturday after Dead and Co, but they're playing late late night, not sure I'll make it, especially since they got announced for southsounds.
I went last year. We brought in an RV and two cars on Thursday night. Nobody got stopped along the way but people had their shit seized at the gate. Luckily the dogs weren’t at our gate. They got on our rv and looked around. Made sure there were no glass containers. The girl driving one of the cars had her purse searched and they found addys. She threw the guy a couple and he let her in.
I just take a few shirts with pockets for festivals now. Pfg/Hawaiian/etc. Put a carabiner on my short somewhere, so I can latch my water bottle on when it's empty. Granted, haven't done roo in a while and I always used my camelback there, probably bigger than those for sure.
I was in line to get to the stages last year at chobee when we were asked to empty our pockets. I put my hands in my pockets and realized I wasn’t gonna be able to do that so I made a beeline in the opposite direction. I’m sure that didn’t look suspicious.
We heard the same shit at Roo last year but from what I saw they never enforced it. I had no issues bringing stuff in.
I love going through these festival lineups and listening to bands I have not heard before good way to find good new tunes
Leaving for One Big Holiday in the morning. Jacket’s only shows in 2018 and a solid lineup. Pretty pumped.
I dig the Arroyo Seco lineup but it's $149 for a daily pass. Probably worth it for Neil & Jack White since seeing those each individually would be >$75, but would pass on Sunday.
Kopped a free pass to Okeechobee last night. Gonna leave after work and ride with a friend down there tonight. Already have friends with an rv there now. The worst lineup of the festivals short three year history, but can’t say no to a free wristband and all prep work/packing already completed.
I want the Osheaga lineup. It's been out this early thevlast two years but with WayHome on hiatus they have no more competition
So far Jacket is playing their albums straight through in order. Last night set 1 was It Still Moves and set 2 was Z. They closed with Cobra. Best show I will ever see.
