that music doesn't sound good to me
sorry not sorry
You can skip to any point in that song and it will be the same thing.
I'm gonna let my bank account recover from Waka for a second but I'm locking up Phases of the Moon tickets swoon. John McGuirk
I advise any and all who peruse this thread to do the same.
Nah one part has a Chris Tucker sample from Friday.
I am more into this type of ish
Holy ship has been blacklisting people that talk about their drug usage/smuggling on facebook. Hope more follow suite
did some skipping around in that video. got to 19:05-19:15 and almost jumped out my office window.
different strokes for different folks all up in this thread. Terminal West is a great venue though and used to be pretty good friends with a couple guys that run it. Good peoples
they snort a lot of blow in their back office
you literally jumped to the most intense part in the entire set
saw my friends play this past weekend, had a fucking blast.
I watched both sets of STS9 this weekend as well, I'm no STS9 apologist but they killed it in my opinion. New chick bass player was impressive.
might head into the mountains to see this show on saturday
dude S9 2.0 is FUCKING AMAZING
sonic bloom next weekend
The bass notes reverberating through the ground during this show had me fucking stuck.
Just unreal show all around and my favorite that was in the revival tent.
saw them right after she joined and she was playing a stand up bass at the show it was excellent
So mad I missed them when they came around. I was all broke and shit. Won't happen again.
The axe the cables set at phases should be interesting...kind of have mixed feelings because I want to see a regular set as well...no way I miss this fest though. Less than 5 hours away and the biscuits are playing. All I need to know
Went to glitch mob this weekend...it was aight.
I've seen axe the cables. Not impressed
fuck glitch mob
2 of the 3 are playing at Paradiso in 2.5 weeks... Trippy Turtle and Big Gigantic.
Have any of you dudes heard of Savant? I kind of like. Dude uses like old school nintendo beats it sounds like. Just heard him for first time today.
Ott was at CounterPoint
Headlining Symbiosis. Take the ride, TRUST ME
Trippy Turtle isn't going to be for everybody, but I suggested him to the EDM lovers I was camping with and they all seemed to really enjoy it. His mixing was clean and on point all night.
And that hoodie is just totes cute.
This is just an alter ego dj name for this kid and it blew up on him.
He dropped Gotta get through this and I danced like it was a middle school dance again.
I bet C'est bon hates him more than anyone rationally could
I went through my cashmere cat phase.
Yes cashmere cat ghost writes for trippy turtle
Yeah...just went with a friend...honestly if I'm going to go see someone that doesn't play instruments, I usually prefer something that's ambient or chill. Or at least something that doesn't sound like hype music the whiole time
I'm still trying to find this remix of Technologic that Savoy played in the tent. It was a lot slower than any mix I'd ever heard of the song.
Anyone doing Summerfest in Milwaukee? NEver been to it and taking a boat across the lake to go see what it is about. I dont understand the tix though. Some are GA and then some are sold separately/?
You've lived there (Assuming still Chicago) for how long? And you've never been? Jesus man.
I don't think you realize how much music is IN the city he lives in.
I'm messing with him... Know him from when I lived there. Anyway, Summerfest is more about the party (I thought), and I know Ralf likes his booze.
Haha, taking a boat across from Muskegon to Milwaukee. Probably will pack some Gin Buckets.
I live in Grand Rapids, MI now and have for a few years.
ahhhh we have an office there. Supposed to be almost as nice as mine
The Voodoo Fest lineup comes out tomorrow
Pretty solid imo.
let me know if you ever make it up.
no way I leave denver for Grand Rapids!
headed to sonic bloom this weekend
I hope this is the little cletus approved thread for this
Giving a hard think about going tomorrow and sat...
pretty similar to their setlist at Hangoutfest. few more songs though. Got tickets to both nights in October when they come to town. pretty pumped about it

The 2015 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience returns to City Park Oct. 30-Nov. 1, and headlining the Halloween slot is Ozzy Osbourne, who returns to the festival a second time after his 2010 performance. Also on the 2015 Voodoo lineup are country singer-songwriter Jason Isbell, My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way, Welsh rock band The Joy Formidable, rockers Clutch, punk trio Title Fight and Oakland roots singer-songwriter Fantastic Negrito.

Its a toss up for me whether MMJ or Houndmouth at Hangout was the best show I've seen all year. Was fairly close for both. Lot of fun.
I'm fucking pumped to see Tom Morello do his thing again. I saw Rage at Voodoo maybe in '06 or '07 and I only came back with my shorts on.
It was 07' and I've never seen a crowd just become a wave of energy the way it did when rage started. That may have been my #1 show as I started listening to them when I was in third or fourth grade and they are probably the single most influential band of my life.
My teacher was prolly in disbelief thinking 'what kinda 6 grader writes a book report on Leonard Peltier's prison writings?'
That was the most insane show I've been to or I think will ever go to. The crowd screaming rage, rage, rage 30 minutes prior to them starting still fucking gets me pumped
I got goosebumps when u brought it up.
Do you still have said book report?
That's be awesome, but probably not. Maybe if my parents still lived in my childhood house, but they've moved twice since I graduated high school.
