i wouldn't be too surprised if fabio starts at RB. naturally right footed without being so card prone, in fact some might argue rafaels red card vs bayern spelled our CL exit last year.

It was on Fox last year? like local Fox or FSC. I can't remember watching last year's so this seems new to me. I'm glad it's on a Saturday so I can watch it but sucks the coverage was bad last year. Hopefully it's a success there so they don't move it back to Wednesday especially since City will be winning it I would rather not have to worry about going to work Thursday hungover as shit

Maybe it's because i really don't care about pregame or half time shows and who's hosting in the studio. All i care about is if the broadcast is in HD and if the commentators for the actual game are quality.

ESPN only had a few CL games in HD during their time, I think all of them being right before the 2006 WC or 2008 Euros (as the equipment was already in place). At least with Fox, you always know it's going to be in HD. That said, Derek Rae blows anyone from Fox/Sky out the water but Tommy Smyth is an insufferable idiot. Thrilled he's no longer doing big games.

Here is what the boy says. And how any Arsenal player can root for Barca is beyond me.

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has advised Manchester United to take the game by the scruff of the neck against Barcelona and "get in their faces" during the Champions League final on Saturday.

The Red Devils will lock horns with Pep Guardiola's men at Wembley, having lost the same fixture in Rome two years earlier.

For his part, Wilshere saw his own side bowing out of the last 16 in the tournament at the hands of Barca, but received high praise for his performances against the Catalan club.

"The thing with Barca is three passes - bang, bang, bang - and they're through. So you have to get in their faces," he said, according to The Sun.

"You have to stop the players like Xavi, Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta who can just kill you.

"But if you can get in their faces they ease off in the second half and you really have to go for them."

Wilshere added: "United have a better chance than we had. They have the likes of Ji-Sung Park and Antonio Valencia who are runners and can stop players.

"United should use just Wayne Rooney with Valencia and Park helping out behind them.

"For most of it, though, they will be defending because that is what Barcelona make you do."

    Some stats:

?This is their fourth Champions League meeting. They met in the group stages in 1994/95 and 1998/99. In the 2008 semis the Red Devils won and Barcelona got their revenge in the Rome final a year later (2-0).

?Since the competition has been called the Champions League (1992/93), Barça and United have scored and conceded the same number of goals (303 and 158).

?Of the nine games the Red Devils have played at Wembley (all in domestic competitions), five have been decided on penalties.

?Barça’s last official visit to the place where they won their first European Cup was in the group stages of the 1999/00 season. They beat Arsenal 4-2.

?The team has already played at the new Wembley. That was in two preseason games in 2009/10 against Tottenham and Al Ahly.

?Barça have scored the most goals in this Champions League, with 27, and Manchester United have conceded the fewest goals, 4.

?Sir Alex Ferguson’s side have taken the most corners (76).

? These are the two clubs with the highest possession in this year’s Champions League. The Catalans have 62% and the Mancunians 58%.

?Thanks to his 11 goals, Leo Messi will almost certainly be top scorer in the Champions League for the third season in a row. Only Gerd Müller and Jean Pierre Papin have achieved the same feat.

? The Argentinian is just one shy of the all time record under the current format. Ruud Van Nistelrooy scored 12 in 2003.

?Messi has taken the most shots in the competition (31) and is also the player who has been on the receiving end of the most fouls (30).
