Milan? They sold a 48% share of the club for 500M in order to raise capital for s stadium and transfers.
Ibra isn't going to live forever. Spending massive amounts of money on old strikers isn't a good strategy. Porto robbed Milan.
Luca Toni did just win the golden boot at like 40. Not sure what they're paying but Martinez is probably as good as any striker in the league besides Tevez.
It'll be great if Milan buys Ibra (to play the Totti role) and a new midfield. Otherwise, dumping money into strikers is going to get the club nowhere.
And you tell me, what was the better value, Juve getting Tevez for £10 or Milan paying the entire!! buyout for Jackson Martinez.
Obviously, you are stupid enough not to see the difference between the way Tevez left Manchester City and the way Jackson is leaving Porto.
No Champions League success (and now two years without participating) +company that owns Milan having to pay a 750M Euro fine has made for a rough 7 years.
So you're saying Jackson Martinez didn't constantly bitch about FC Porto, threaten to leave the team on multiple occassions, demand to be traded to Boca or threaten to retire and refuse to enter as a sub in a Champions League game because he's a butt-hurt babyback bitch? Wow. But hey, at least he was nice enough to gift us this to remember him by.
And he has scored 90 goals in 3 seasons. Serie A is a place where he can succeed for several more years even starting out at 29... But, as I said, without Ibra and a new midfield, I don't think it was a great move. He can score 20 easily in Serie A if he gets to play next to Ibrahimovic... Ibra is old, but he will be able to do whatever he wants in Italy.
It's been frustrating not being able to spend when the owner is worth $9B, but cash poor is bad even for billionaires.
Milan seems to be trying to make a splash. I am very appreciative that Milan decided to help rid us of Fernando Torres last year so I hope it works out
Lol. BACCA AGENT HINTS AT ROMA MOVE The agent of Sevilla striker Carlos Bacca has hinted that his client could move to Roma this summer. Bacca scored 28 goals for the Spanish outfit this season, but his agent Sergio Barila has not ruled out a move. Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, he said: "Carlos is deeply religious. And in Rome, there is the pope. And apart from that we are talking about one of the best clubs [Roma]. "If Bacca were to leave Sevilla, it will not be for the money, but a chance to play in the Champions League. We've already said no to lucrative offers out of China and the United Arab Emirates."
That ridiculously low price has me all skeptical. Maybe Barca has a soft spot for plucky ole Everton.
Maybe a slight one but you have to be Neymar level good to be not considered a disappointment when you're a Barca winger. Even if he never improves from where he was two years ago, it is still a sizable upgrade from Aiden McGeady.
At Sevilla, I thought he was really dangerous at Everton. Even with the buyback, which Everton would make money on if activated, it is pocket change for a talented and direct winger. I would have liked him at Arsenal, you can improve finishing, you can't necessarily teach beating defenders at pace with the dribbling. His directness is more effective in England than it otherwise would be in Spain.
