If things like that are coming out it’s good for you guys, now all you need is a secretary to admit he licked her face and took out his dick in front of her and you are out of the woods. Do it 34
I feel sorry for Duchene he was traded straight into a dumpster fire with the owner yelling you gotta pay me to put it out.
Don’t feel bad for him at all, I feel bad for myself because I grossly underrated turris even though the guys here told me he was very good. Duchene will do good, but Ottawa lost that trade badly. Especially if they don’t sign him
again thanks for Turris weve won 13 or 14 games since he showed up its getting hard keeping up with all the wins and Ive enjoyed us kicking ass all across Canada this week
Why do Canadian teams fail as an organization at a much higher rate than American teams? 30% in the past 25 years.
No idea, it’s really baffling. The owners seem to not want to tank, but Winnipeg and Toronto did and are going to be good teams unless they mess it up like mtl did.
You'd kill to give money to a company that's always treated Quebec francophones like shit, while barely paying any taxes thanks to fiscal paradises, while being in cahoots with the government to basically get anything they want (they literally married their son to the Prime Minister's daughter). The fuck is wrong with you?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/France_Chrétien_Desmarais http://www.journaldemontreal.com/2015/09/26/power-corp-encore-une-fois-dans-le-viseur-du-fisc http://www.ledevoir.com/economie/ac...power-corp-mele-a-l-affaire-des-panama-papers http://profsolitaire.blogspot.ca/2016/04/power-corp-et-les-paradis-fiscaux.html And they've basically worked to get to whoever they wanted elected (liberals, mostly. On the Quebec, Canadian and even municipal fronts) through their multiples media (newspaper, etc.) for tens of years in exchange for favors
Probably has to do with the fact that there’s too much pressure to put a good product on the ice versus doing a full rebuild. Look at the Leafs before they got the kids, MLSE didn’t want to commit to a rebuild. They were worried about getting skewered in the media and fans in the seats. Another problem is the fact that no matter how bad the on ice product may be the fans will usually still show up. So if the guy upstairs is still making money he doesn’t care.
And Canadian teams have to overpay to get or keep the stars because of taxes. Stamkos is a good example
If the fans will show up either way and thus the money will be there either way, where is there pressure?
This is what kills me, if mtl wants to rebuild they should be able to tank hard and still make money.
A good GM doesn’t want to go through a rebuild only to watch another GM come in and get the glory. Guys have a short shelf life so they want to win, or sell that they are trying to win. GM’s hate selling hope as it means they are on the clock. Toronto brought in a few key guys who were prepared to do what was necessary to build a winner over time.
Nah, a good GM effectively communicates what is entailed by a rebuild. Thus he won’t get removed before the upswing. If he’s not a good GM he either can’t effectively communicate that or doesn’t rebuild well enough.
I can’t believe the lightning almost blew a 4 goal lead to the Avs. At least sergachev was there to bail us out.
Nate Silver has made the case its the actual unwavering fan support, not the media, which is to blame. Imo the fan who slurps up whatever the GTA media market is peddling is more to blame than the said media, https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/why-cant-canada-win-the-stanley-cup/
Media in Montreal is completely out of control. At some point players get fed up. Whenever the team is not winning they dig into personnal stuff, just pathetic.
Montreal media is different than anywhere else up here. They, especially the French media, are way too aggressive. But the Habs treat them better than the Anglo media, which is weird.
Because the French are loyal to a fault. If quebec gets a team, mtl can forget about Saguenay and a good portion of the east side of Canada. Especially with how mtl is bleeding fans right now About the media, hate these idiots. They feel like they are bigger than the player and bitch if the guy is on edge after a tough loss. And they feel entitled, they want more French speaking guys because it makes it easier for them. And
Also, many do not appreciate the number of fans that can’t understand English. there is only one team for these guys.
Depends where you live in Montreal. If you live west or on the island chances your English is strong. South shore or east, not as much. But thw French media certainly is bigger.
Does it look like my English is strong? But regardless, it’s not just mtl. The regions are habs fans, if quebec got a team mtl would lose a lot of fans from the east....Saguenay, New Brunswick. Etc
Everyone on the Canucks is dead now. Entire first line is out (Horvat, Baertschi, Boeser). Top D is out. Now virtnanen just suicided. What a great day
Any Sens trade rumors? Pens board keeps talking about the Sens being a potential trade partner. Pageau, Ceci, Hoffman and even Karlsson.
Stars traded Jamie Oleksiak to PITT for a conditional 4th round pick Possibly so Hitch can stop playing him in front of Julius Honka
