That early in the day? Cruel
We will beat the Michigan State Spartans by 69
congrats to all involved
Congrats #Penn State Nittany Lions fans
Minnesota is in regardless?
Probably locked it up after beating Purdue. But this would be a rough loss
Surprisingly, PSU on a neutral court is a quad 1 game.
Not if they lose.
Fair. But it is if we lose.
JHC. PSU getting screwed by the refs late.
Josh Reeves is pretty good imo
Congrats Gophers fans
Fuck yeah gophs way to go
If steals and dunks were all basketball required he would be a hall of famer.
Sorry not sorry
I thought you people were supposed to be nice, sheesh
Eat shit, McCaffrey family.
Bohannon might want to tighten that handle. Dosunmu has absolutely abused him a couple times.
Aint happening, we need a PG to pair him with.
I'm just relieved that we miss a top-25 Illinois team.
I wanted no part of the Noise
Garza is the Midwest version of Sheep fucker Maye from NC
This is exactly the time of year you have to watch for that team eye gouging, twisting ankles, biting, throwing elbows, etc. Anything to try to injure an opponent. This is how the scum bag Fran coaches them.
NET ratings are dumb. We moved down 1 spot yesterday to 57. Despite losing to us, PSU moved up 2 spots to 47. Oregon, the team that passed us, beat #103 Utah.
Rating changes aren’t only based on your latest game. Other teams on everyone’s schedules are also playing games.
NET rankings are the definitive source of truth on college basketball and the B1G basketball hierarchy this year is clearly as follows:
8. Michigan State
47. Penn State
55. Ohio State
Don’t hate on scientific methods just because they identify you as the 11th best team in the B1G.
WE'RE NOT LAST
WE'RE NOT LAST
I could hear an arguement for kenpom though since that scientist has been at it for years and has honed his formula.
In which case:
4. Michigan State
41. Penn State
45. Ohio State
I prefer those because it has all the B1G teams higher, but the only change in the standings is Nebraska 7th and Penn State 8th.
The takeaways from both methods are clear:
Penn State and Nebraska are the 7th and 8th best teams and should be dancing, and Minnesota is the 11th best B1G team.
Both of your rankings do not seem to capture the concept that Illinois is a top 25 team.
I do appreciate that PSU moved up to keep our win Q1. They were sitting at 49 so I expected it to move in to Q2.
I believe Purdue will be a Q1 win even when you beat them today as well.
It would be great. Their fans were so bitter after the last game.
P.S. Go Nebrasketball.
Michigan State -11 vs Ohio State
Wisconsin -8 vs Nebraska
Purdue -8 vs Minnesota
Michigan vs Iowa TBD
OSU (with a little action on the M/L, too).
Yeah, I think Wisconsin covers the 8 (although I thought Maryland covered the 6.5 yesterday too).
We have to run out of gas at some point playing our 3rd game in 3 days with only 7 players and Wisconsin hasn’t played yet.
Palmer and Watson have both played all 40 minutes in both of our games the last two days and Roby has played 39 and 37 only subbing out due to foul trouble.
Go watch ACC spring ball.
Foster Loyer is better than anyone on #Michigan Wolverines roster
Fortunately, Wisconsin will probably limit the game to 60 possessions.
This white for Michigan state is a legit neck beard
I hope we’re the play in game in Dayton.
You gonna go?
haha don't strain your neck while you look up the NET rankings to find where PSU is lmao
Purdue is up to -10 over Minnesota
Wisconsin -8.5 over Nebraska
Give me Minnesota +10
