I like to pretend when Borja Valerjo goes down easily and screams outlandishly, that he shouts his name, "BOOOORJA"
He’s fun to watch but I’m not sure I’m thrilled about this. https://www.skysports.com/football/...reveals-plan-to-act-as-mentor-for-richarlison
12 teams already through with one matchday left...lame December 11 has only two groups that matter (and one's a bit of a mess so that's fun) December 12 has only one group and both teams play each other. Lyon/Shakhtar is literally the only match that has any advancement implications
I understand Tottenham's path to advancing (just match Inter's loss/win/draw). What is Liverpool's path?
I understand what you mean because it sucks to lose your players, but Richarlison can definitely do better than Everton, so I don't know if that would be bad advice
Any win by one scenarios that still work? I see they lose 1-0 at Napoli, so a 1-0 win at Anfield would then go down the tiebreaker list, right? Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams; (3 v 3) Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams; (0) Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams; (2 v 2) Away goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams; (0 v 0) If more than two teams are tied, and after applying all head-to-head criteria above, a subset of teams are still tied, all head-to-head criteria above are reapplied exclusively to this subset of teams; (N/a) Goal difference in all group matches; (Ah, here it is. Napoli +3, Liverpool +1, Napoli advance). Good luck then, Reds. Although... what if Liverpool win 1-0 and PSG draw against Red Star? Now you have three teams at 9... I have no fuckin clue. Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams; (Liv: 6, PSG: 5, Napoli: 5) Liverpool advance?
Could just be the Liverpool fan in me, but based on how our attack has performed over the last couple months, I'd be very surprised if we win, let alone by 2+ goals.
Could be the Everton fan in me but your attack will find its mojo just in time for our upcoming match this weekend.

Liverpool vs Napoli not being available to watch in English for free is so fucking stupid. Turner, you suck. Univision though
Bleacher Report and their bullshit one game a day with whoever Barca, Real or Bayern are playing has been infuriating. Fox was no shining light but at least they paid respect to the importance of the games they showed when it mattered and had more than one fucking channel to broadcast it on.
No shit. That’s missing the point though, we shouldn’t have to resort to illegal or Spanish streams for matches of this importance. Even if only for the last Matchday of the group stage. I really hope they’re getting little to no buyers and have to rethink this idiocy
you can't expect them to preempt friends syndication on tbs or whatever happens on trutv during the day to provide additional coverage guys
Nice. Even if they change their model it makes me kinda want to watch Univision for doing it right to begin with. I was sort of an apologist for the changes they made but it’s dumb to not show 2 matches free on this time slot during group stage and it’ll be worse during knockouts (or are they planning to show more during knockouts?)
Not sure what the schedule looks like yet with the round of 16 but after that there shouldn't be multiple games on at the same time. I'm also thinking they're gonna use Holden and Nash to commentate this Spurs game on Tuesday
I know it’s hard but don’t be a cunt. Driving people to Univision is clearly not what Turner/BR expected when they went this route. That is a very valid criticism It’s an issue for me because it’s hard for me to actually watch at work so typically I would listen only. I know a little but not enough to keep up with a game if I’m listening only so yeah it actually is an issue.
If Liverpool win 1-0 it would be +2 Napoli and +2 Liverpool So then it go to goals scored and Liverpool would advance 9 vs 7.
This Gala-Porto game has been an entertaining start to the day. Porto currently leads 3-2 after a missed pen from Galatasaray
