On the bright side, maybe he recruits better than Sal did for you guys
One can only hope
#Mississippi State Bulldogs
Good. His position group was awful this year for the dux
The only Michael Johnson I acknowledge.
Our worst combo of coaching and recruiting on staff. We are excited.
Ohh no. Please dont go.
Eugene to Starkville seems depressing
Thank you Bulldawgs
Hopefully this happens
What first rounder did he coach at UTSA?
See spoiler bud
So our new hire is ...interesting.
#Penn State Nittany Lions Y’all know anything about Joe Brady?
He was a GA when we won the B1G. I'd never heard of him until today.
That’s what I assumed the answer was going to be. Kid went from GA to Saints offensive assistant to (allegedly) getting to choose between offers at Saints, LSU, and Miss St under Moorhead.
Seems like a real boom or bust hire, but I’m ok with O taking a chance to switch it up.
We had an opening at WR coach and I don't think he was in the mix. I don't think it's an indictment against him, just really the only useful info I think any of us have about him.
#Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Glad it won't be Mike Hart because that would have made me sad.
I'm cool with this, because Mike Hart sucks.
I would have been fine with him but preferred Taylor.
Harrell is on usc campus today
I guess if one former Tech QB abandons you, just replace him with another. Harrell would be a great hire for USC in my opinion though.
Maybe he'll bring Princeton's badass helmets/unis with him. Wouldn't need to change the color scheme.
Congrats #Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Great dude with a bright future in coaching, and will be one of if not your best recruiters while there. I expect him to get you guys one or two of the top 50 type backs that there are plenty of in '20.
If you want to know a little more about the hire, I put this in our thread a couple weeks back when it looked like he would get the nod at WR for us:
now everybody stay the fuck away from Bo and let him think about what he's done in Detroit for the next couple years, please
Big fan of this news.
good and creative hire imo
I don’t know what to think is this good or bad
To add more to this, he'll be covering parts of Cali (made a lot of connections at Stanford) and the southeast, especially the coast area for you guys. Already has the Christian McCaffrey lines dialed up I'm sure.
He called my grandfather earlier and apologized jokingly (he's old school, he still hates ND more than AU/Tenn combined), but needless to say you've got a new converted fan after 74 years of hatred... outside of matchups with us, of course.
That's better than it being boring.
Committed to going down the former TTU QB coaching tree, I see.
Though this has been said of other notable duck WR coaches in the past
Our last one (Lubick) was great. Wish we could have retained him but it was understandable to gut the entire staff when Helfrich was kicked to the curb. The one before Frost gave us this as his daughter/cheerleader so we can't hate on that.
I remember that face and I've only watched 1-2 Oregon games a year. Oregon cheerleaders are still setting the standard, I see
Good move by him. Helton gets fired before the season ends and he can become the interim coach. USC loves them an internal hire.
playing pretty fast and loose with that "former NFL QB" there huh Bruce?
He had 4 career passes in the NFL, so he qualifies as a former NFL QB and not just a practice squad guy like the boner on The Bachelor
bertwing in here dropping random bachelor facts
Soup and I watch it together every Monday night
4 more than you had, loser!
#Kansas State Wildcats
That's a pretty big fuck you to emaw. Cant blame him after they pulled his DC title and wanted him to stay.
That’s p bad. He’s a really bright young coach and a good recruiter
