really put all my prime day eggs into the winning one of the tv or laptop giveaways basket. didnt win any next year is the year
Went into prime day with low expectations. Think it's typically over rated but was pleasantly surprised. Give this year a solid 7.3/10
They literally took the items that sold out during the time the site was down and put them back on sale at the same price for another 24 hours. See the instant pot as an example. You should really keep up with what your company is doing.
They weren’t actually sold out. If they were sold out then we wouldn’t have any to sell. Thanks for playing.
They were 100% claimed on a lightning deal. Like every other item that becomes 100% claimed on a lightning deal, they went back to full price. A few hours later they lowered all of those items back down to the lightning deal price for a full 24 hours. Its embarrassing you dont know how this works.
I dont need to do anything. They did it on their own, just as I said they would. I didnt even have to call and bitch to get my instant pot at $59.
Dbl mansplaining to an Amazon employee how Amazon works. Just classic dbling. Let us know when your emailed apology from Bezos arrives.
I did too. I just didn't invent some convoluted theory that it demonstrated Amz's shame over their technical fuckups at the opening bell.
I read they acknowledged it was a bug where they “sold out” for 4 hours before it was fixed and they came back
I never said anything about shame, I just said they'd right their wrong. They did. I'm sorry that me being right again bothers you so much.
You realize I'm not the one that said they'd add an extra day, right? I said they'd do something, not just tell everyone to deal with. They did something and made it right. I was right. Again.
Two years in a row buying a tv you say? Keeping that tv every year on prime day streak alive. I like it.
I bought 4 bar stools for my new bar recently. Check them on prime day and they were $40 cheaper a stool so I bought 6 more for the bar and a high top table. Pissed I paid 160 too much for the first 4 though.
Everyone make sure you check your bank statements for those who made purchases on Prime day. Amazon double charged me on 2 separate transactions.
I have detested shopping my whole life. But goddam if I don't love finding Amazon boxes on my porch even if the purchase is mundane. This is the best piece of social engineering I can think of.
Already all put together and packaging thrown away. Happened like 2 weeks ago. Plus side is I got the 49 inch TCL for 299.99 around the same time and that’s the cheapest I’ve ever seen that size. It was 319.99 on prime day.
